Surprisingly enough, in Norway, or at least in my county, we actually have world history, about the whole world. Mostly Europe, but we learn about things in the USA, Asia, Africa and a little bit about South America (Depending on the language you have in school)

Dental Hygiene History Fact: The reason that wisdom teeth weren't that big of a deal back then, was because there were less soft foods available. Thus, we had to chew more, which naturally ground down our teeth and made space for the wisdom teeth. Nowadays, we mostly eat soft foods, so our teeth aren't ground down as much.

You're almost right about the teeth. As hunter-gatherers humans ate alot more roots/fruits/berries and uncooked meat, this meant we had to chew our food more than we do today. This in turn meant we had bigger and stronger jaws than we have today.

To answer Drew's question, primortial humans had larger jaws to acomodate the food they ate. Modern humans have smaller jaws be cause we don't need bigger jaws any more. The wisdom teeth didn't go away though, so that's why people have their wisdom teeth removed. Fun Fact: some people don't have their wisdom teeth removed because they have big enough jaws. 7:07 No Drew, it is due to us chewing much less since the start of the Industrial Revolution. Our mouths are smaller now which is why we need to remove wisdom teeth and braces are a lot more prevalent. It is also why we have sleep apnea and some allergies now.

4:08 Fun fact Drew. In northwest Kansas, a farm family has over tens of thousands head of horses that are kept in the wild. All the family does is fence them in hundreds of acres of land and basically supervises them. The government pays them to pay let these “wild” horses roam their land to let them die naturally. Wisdom Teeth were once regular teeth - it's just that our jaws got smaller - because we need less muscle / stability, after we started cooking meat and stuff and stopped eating tree bark.
