This weeks video, with Max Haze, is about how to set up the in and outputs on the Axe Fx from Fractal Audio while using the Matrix GT1000FX.
In this video I will show you how to connect your Axe Fx for both live and recording. With this method you can use your Axe Fx to record and also play with your band without making any adjustment to your settings...

What if I run output 1 to front of house and output 2 to my power amp. Would I have speaker sim on or off going to front of house?

You will use cab sim to front of house. Look at the picture at 1:15 in the video...

A 18AWG 3-Prong/Connector Electrical Power Cord Cable 125Volt 10 Amp if you don't know what kind of cable that is either do you know what other power cables will work for it if you did lose it say

Max, one question: can you use your setup for recording via USB and monitoring via real poweramp/cab?. Because if you use no external sound card and the Axe FX itself as soundcard interface, the output from your DAW would sound through the real cab, but with cabinet simulation engaged. That's what happens to me and it's frustrating

I run my signal into my sound card. You can use the Axe Fx II as a soundcard but I haven't tried it out...
