Thank you Joe. I used it for a moulding the thickness was about 5-10 mm I think the packet means re coatable after 3 hrs with more filler,it allows you to build it up as you would know. The second coat went on nice and very close to the form I wanted without worries about it drying too fast. Horses for courses good hard product that takes detail very well. Thanks for the video.
Get the fan on. Minimum 18" Either with heater behind it in the winter, or just blowing. Rapid drying of preparation and paints and move the job on quicker. It's a must have tool. I use toupret standard filler as easyfill can play up as a little soft I find. Gets dusty and a bit mush around edges. All fillers are better with primer over I find. Enjoy the videos Jo. Hi wayne, I have a fan heater...although not sure its 18".....but on this particular video review, I just wanted to highlight the natural drying times really....tbh I don't use the heater as much as i should...and i will try the standard toupret skin thanks for that 👍
@@JoeProDecor Most of the time I just use big fan. Fan heaters are minimal use in heating rooms or cold movement of air on domestic jobs. Hot enough in most homes already! Gee. Get a high velocity 18 inch fan.. You got one already? Blow your hat off but dry things out. Lol. Thanks for reply though. I understand what you were saying though about natural drying. Never can get easy fill where I am. It like a joint filler I suppose Great for big holes. Always use polycell to finish myself. All fillers that I have used are slow to dry if holes are deep. Do you ever mix paint to with the filler.? Honest no bull videos. Like it.. Keep them up..
Yes I sometimes mix the paint I'm using with the filler if I aim to get a coat on un the same day with easifill 20...but with this q3 there is no need tbh
Hi Joe I’ve been dry scraping wood chip paper off my hall & landing walls , but the wall under the paper is like mixed surfaces part bare plaster , flacky paint & partly solid paint , could you telll me the best way of dealing with this, I would like to send you a picture of the walls so I can show you exactly what I mean
Hi mate, without seeing it, I can only suggest removing all loose material off the surface before deciding what to do next. The next step is to then fill all imperfections and sand smooth. If at that point you are still not happy due to the different surface textures, you have the option to line before paint application, or have it skimmed. It is really difficult to be accurate without seeing it. Good luck with it 👍
I don’t think it’s cheaper. I used it and it no 3 hour drying unless it’s very shallow fill. But no flash. I’m a lazy sod now so go to ready mixed stuff😂
