Azmodan A - Z | Heroes of the Storm (HotS) Gameplay 

Hey Pally, Azmodan actually was released together with Anubarak when the game launched on alpha/beta. The Diablo event heroes were Leoric, Butcher, Kharazim and Johanna. Also, funfact, Azmodan in the begining of the game, could basically solo boss at lvl 10 with demonic invasion in 5 sec more or less.

I love how “go with the flow” you were in this one. Like oh whelp can’t do what we want, let’s try this thing we have never done before Gang.

After Level 7, Q wave then E globe minion immediately after to get stacks on the full wave each time.

9-1 now following your builds. This one got me an MVP award with 0 kills because of all the siege damage and XP I generated. Nice relaxing build this time.

Good to see a Siege-mo-Dan for your final run. It was my preferred style back in the day.

I remember the old HGC Azmo comps where a whole team could get blown up by a maxed-dark pooled Globe. Good times.

I was an Azmodan main back when he first got released. I loved his lazer self-heal build, not because I sucked at getting the dunks, but because I could push out a lane, have Illidan use the hunt on me, and then just channel and win!

My brother was on the GMU Heroes of the Dorm team, so it made me really happy when you brought it up :D

Fun fact there was a talent that would spawn a demonic minion after globe hits.

Pally the reason u go e at 7 in basically all builds is you can e the mage minion and immediately follow up with dunk and stack from the whole wave :)

One thing you didn't say but i think worth mentioning is the demon lieutenant now smites every 7 seconds instakilling a nearby minion which was a talent before his rework. Love these videos, keep up the good work!

Laser Azmodan isn't just for sieging Pally, the demonic invasion does nice damage in a teamfight and helps to bodyblock enemies and the laser talents are just really nice in general for fighting as much as sieging.

I've been a dunk exclusive Azmo player, but I think this video made me a lazer enthusiast, lol. Loving the series man, keep it up, stay safe, get well soon :)

i love siege azmodan.. back then tide of sin affects laser also. it increase the laser damage like crazy, with the healing laser talent Azmo can literally tanking illidan until he died.

Azmodan has always been my favorite! Laser build was my favorite build before the dunk rework

Haven't tried a laser build since they got rid of the infinite stream but I used to love it. I'm going to give this build a try though

Love laser build. Even when facing a team that can counter it it’s still so much fun.

First time I tried the old Az build Pally showed, I delayed a game for 30 minutes, after which I melted the enemy team. Getting stacks was a pain back then!

I once had a game with Azmodan, before his 1st rework (I believe), when army build was considered the worst possible build, and we were on the map to collect the seeds. A game my team should've lost in the 1st 10-12 minutes. We were level 7 to the enemy level 10. The enemy allowed me to take the mid and bot tier 1 defenses for 2 deaths, as they were trying to race me for siege damage on top only. Took tier 2 defenses with 3 lives in both bot and mid. I collected close to 27k experience, and almost 400k siege damage. We were level 20 to the enemy team 17 when the game finally ended. I was pretty accurate with the dunks for a long time. I was also very difficult to dunk on because of my play time. Haven't played in years, but do enjoy watch Pally's videos.

I once delayed a shrines game to over 45mins on Azmo, back in the specialist days ofc, we came back from 0:6 buildings to take the W :D

Interesting how Zags and Azmo are in the top ranks and both were the prototypical "Summoner" specialist classes. Still kind of miss the old systems but life goes on.

I think being lvl 10 - 8 was a bigger threat of them to not go to top objective instead of getting a free kill on a higher lvl enemy. Also can Q-E to clear the wave with the AOE proc and get the stacks

I miss the days of Pally playing dunk azmo over and over with trik. Constantly rotating to get last hits and scaling into infinity.

If you don't know: A nice trick with Azmo is to use your trait by hovering the minion/wave on the mini-map so you don't have to move the screen away from lane :)

I miss the art of the old empowered laser. If you picked the laser upgrade talents before his rework the laser would change into a sick looking death beam.

Shame we'll never get Baal, Andariel, Duriel, Belial or Lilith in game.

He's been my favorite character since I've started I used to use the demon build before his rework and now I've started playing him less because imo every !Watch feels the same like just build annihilation lol

Man if abby wasn't my favorite, the master of the dunk himself would be! God i love this fat demon, so fun to play

laser azmo is my main build with him just because the enemy team literally can't ignore you if you are laning, i've noticed the 8% heal on the beam is not worth it i believe the one i use is the upgraded trait demon just because it allows me to push two lanes at once at all times, due to the buff

Honestly miss this game, watching this series makes me want to play it again, shame that it's probably dead in South America.

When I still played the game I would always pick Asmodan so that even if we were loosing I would have a minigame to play with the dunks

Yeah, I'm about 95% sure Azmo was never about last-hitting anything. It was always like 1-2 seconds window. I most definitely remember dunking minions, then auto attacking and still getting dings.

Laser Build is not my favorite build, i'm just really happy you went with the siege build because that's what you do with him. :)

Btw you probably know this but, you can stack real fast by using Q, then E on the mage minion. Since it will die really fast and cause the explosion from lvl 7 talent to kill the other minions

Ugh! I had a few games against an Azmo/Aba combo. They rushed those buildings down every time Azmo's ult was off cooldown. Couldn't do a thing about it. Rough games.

Remember the bug with Azmo's minions and Tassadar's shields made them unkillable haha

I got azmodan to level 7 and I still don't know how to get stacks like I see some azmodans have. In his newest video (Kel'thuzad during the November 2021 charity stream) an Azmodan got his quest done at LEVEL 11! How do you do that?!

Hmmm, now that you bring it up, I don't think Butch gets double meat for Cho'Gall. And to be fair, I don't necessarily thing he should. But it should be at least 15 meat for a kill.

Does Butcher get like 1/3 of the meat if he kills one of the 3 vikings? I've never really thought about it until he mentioned Cho Gall.

The macro plays you can do are the reason this is the moba I stuck with. Azmo, Nazeebo, Samuro, The Lost Viking-os.... anyway, they offer such a unique playstyle compared to what else I've found in DotA or League. One of my favorite Pally videos was the one where their team won with no kills.
