A number of people seem to be knocking Lil John on the comments, but honestly, he was one of the best bboys in this battle. He, Kirk and Moy held it down for Havikoro.
Yoooo tight battle! Kid Glyde!?! Man that was a bonus! He killed it out there... Yea guy in red...that's not cool, even if Morris did land the flips and the freeze; It's the intention of that guy and that's how fights start out of battles and then it's not fun anymore.
Outside of Pokemon, I don't know of any European crew that has any flava, and that's only because Lilou is on the squad. There may be one Korean group with some flava but that's it. There are literally dozens of American crews
Wish Flex didn't use so many long routines. I think it got a little hum drum at times. The sets were nice, but short. That's where I think Koro had the edge, if they didn't get too heavily penalized.
@zeshenone Dude, I'm well into my 30s, so i was dancing in that era! I actually didn't have a problem with anything else about the battle, just that one incident. I actually think the battles of back in the day, when there was a lot of battle swag, mimics and taunts where more interesting.
hot battle. both came super hard. I think havikoro got the best in dis one tho. moy and lil john were killin dat footwork. but flex had some pretty nasty routines, morris and future were def killin that shit too. who won dis ?
sux that havikoro lost due to loss of points they did interfere here and there but their sets were really clean i do agree with one of the previous comments that in crew battles you have to show that you are a crew and flex flav showed that with a shit load of routines i still give it to havikoro tho and yes clipping someone during a flip is pretty fked up
@M8TRIX777 I agree, and if Morris would've accidently nailed the dude in the head or something, it would've served him right. I don't mind the aggressiveness on both sides, but if I was in that battle, I may have had some words with the guy in red.
3:26 in this video you hear guys in Havikoro shout "5,6,7,8" haha. Yo we're not hating cause FF has routines it's just that some of them seemed to be done without any passion or flow (especially the first couple), I mean compare your routines with those of crews like Massive Monkees. Tho Havikoro screwed themselves by getting zeroed for one round. It was a dope, close battle and shit like that was probably the difference bw them winning or losing.
I'm guessing Flav won that. Havikoro kept losing points for being stupid. Stay behind the line!! Other than that, nice battle. And banggui, the routines were dope! Flex Flav has some sick ass routines!! It's the routines that wins battles nowadays!
@Skarr3d4lif3 Yeah but HK, specifically the dude in red (whatever his name is) took it to far. I don't mind aggressiveness; some of my fave battles involve crews who don't like each other) but he could've seriously fucked Morris's shit up. Honestly, if a fight broke out from that nonsense, I would not have been surprised. Is THAT what b-boying's about?
too many routines fuck up good a good battle. I give it to havikoro for better solo rounds i lost count of how many routines were done by flex flave. Its a shame cause i would have loved to see these crews go heads up solo after solo.
thats bc the crowd doesnt understand... how many times the crowd go crazy for an airchair that wasnt even on beat??? and how are you arguing something you know little about dude??? do you even know what i was referring to when i was talking about the bad judging??? they dont base it on a round-for-round format, rather they had 1 judge for powermoves, 1 judge for style, another strictly for routines and so forth...
for me havikoro took this one, they brought the fire like they always do and plus they liven up the battle wit some antics so wat?? kirk always make the crowd laff
And you have to be kidding me about IBE. That was hardly a USA superteam. The only person on that team who might legitimately belong there is Machine. Where was Ronnie, Doknock, Milky, Moy, Twixx, Morris, Charles, Toyz, Nery, etc. ? Shit, there are too many to fucking name.
What does inclusion in Mighty Zulu Kingz have to do with anything? They were probably befriended by Alien Ness and invited to join. It says nothing about the quality of the person though.
hey this is an event that died.. and ur still talking how they didn't get robbed. Everyone was disappointed almost every single hodown not only bcuz the overpriced cover, but how security treats ppl in the front this event used to be decent it's just gotten worse and worse and now there is no more
Um...when can the MC tell the judges what to do? I get that he's the referee and all, but the floor is what he controls. He let things get out of hand. He can't say "zero that last round" and expect us to take it seriously. If it's a real problem, stop the battle. Usually that gets people's attention, even if you do let it continue.
As we all can see dtrix was heading to be big as a international bboy but once he audition for so you think you can dance and join quest. He just collapse to a lower level
ttrobertoproductions it's been 5 yrs now since your comment. Dtrix explained in a webcast interview how difficult it was to always be in the battle scene. Doing shows was Dtrix's way of making some money with better chances and putting his name into the entertainment industry. Now he's a well known RU-vidr and has appeared on TV multiple times. People needa think first before posting stuff. You have no idea about his life situation and he had all those moves when he was on sytycd and ABDC. Know your shit before you post some shade
fair players and didnt do anything wrong? nice guys? you can't be serious, you clearly don't understand what bboy battles consist of nor the history that follows it. Teamwork and singularity don't matter if the solo rounds outperform the teamwork.
dude korean's don't practice 8-10 hrs. a day. physicz trains the most i've ever heard of at 4 hrs a day. nobody can bboy for 8 hours a day and still be able to move afterward.
no. count all the rounds give a say on each round who won flex flave, havikoro or tie my result is flex flave barely won only half the rounds that havikoro won most of it. everyone that was there knows that havikoro got robbed
im not even gonna watch the whole battle bro.. its not a battle worth watching.. if the only thing that Havikoro is gonna do is interfere they arent battling dude.. and not only that getting in ppl faces and cockin each other DONT help u to win lmao.. it dont look cool neither.. cockin ppl in the face dont mean ur a bboy..
then y is europe and asia doin nothing but doin wut they did in the US fuckin 30 years ago hahahaha studyin the tapes and just doin that exact shit w/o even flippin it, if they pissed all over this "crud" then y is the world jockin in that fuckin word "flava" which means nothing?
wow awesome, i think it was poor choice on havikoro's part not to bust out any routines, flexible flav won this fair and square. i just feel like some of the routines lack energy, whether its execution or choreo i don't know, but yea you guys deserved it, props
DAMN THAT WAS RAW! I WISH ALL BATTLES WERE LIKE THAT NOWADAYS.. HAVIKORO DEF WON. DYZEE BULLSHIT SAYING UR ROUND COUTNS AS ZERO AS INTERFERE...WAHHAH1!!!?!??!!?!??!
yea i feel you homie HaviKORO won this, but the judging system at HoDown was so lame, and Joel's thing kinda fucked em up too oh well, HaviKORO's fuckin dope, real ill ass crew
yo i don't like the announcer at all. "back it up! back it up! back that shit up!" Tell that man to chill. Get in each other's face is part of the game.
man hk didn't get robbed they lost, yeah they had alot of style but I didn't see no one do power on hk's side. only 3 airtracks. oh and when you lose, take it like a man don't argue with judges cause that's what there there for. if you think you got robbed then settle it in a real battle w/out judges. IT TAKES ALOT OF GUTS AND SKILLS TO BE IN ABDC SO QUIT HATING, WHEN I SEE YOU THERE THEN TALK SHIT!!!
i guess you didn't read what i said. All those groups lack any real flavor. B-Town allstars ?!? Are you kidding me? Drifters and Rivers are the most overrated crews in the world. Gamblers is one crew that I notice has been getting better. Before they were a bunch of circus/gymnast nerds. But someone has been trying to teach them how to toprock and do floorwork. But still not real, true bboy flava.
