This is a review of the B&T BWC9 and some of the issues that we have been encountering with the platform. B&T has been extremely helpful in getting this resolved.
When I was a 5 y/o kid, I had an Agent Zero M - Radio Rifle from Mattel Toys (1964). Search for it on RU-vid and you will see why the B&T BWC9 reminds me so much of this toy gun! Gotta get me one of these now!
I own a P320 with multiple frame module and slide combinations. One of the frame modules I own is the subcompact, which works with the carry slide just fine with very little gap between the guide rod capture on the slide and frame dust cover. Considering the grip length dimensions, it would be possible to use a modified chassis without having to use a collapsing grip section using the 12 round magazine. That would allow a spare 15 round magazine to be stowed in the stock section of the chassis. With that in mind, this could be much more economically manufactured as an alternative, especially if they eliminated the optic requirement. If a compact slide was used, an insert with a few blast baffles could be added to the top section as an integral suppressor.
I ordered it expecting to use the chassis with the m17 I sbr’d. that’s a nogo, you need the small rear sight on the 320 to close up the bwc9. Bought a new slide and it’s been reliable for me with magtec 115.
Picked one up a month or two ago and dont even have a 320 FCU, slide, or barrel to go in it. I really need to evaluate my late night compulsion purchases
I’ll tell ya though it looks fantastic in its case on my shelf with a pile of other parts, pieces, and gunsmithing tools all pilled under my SDI degree. I really need to actually finish a project at some point, I just don’t have a big enough safe if I did.
@@XRINGmight be able to minimize the scaring on the slide y placing a piece of electrical tape or something if the sort between the slide and the charger.
@@Mountain_ManRemoving the rds plate and replacing it with a piece of Delrin would work. Would likely make it smoother as well, as Delrin is often used as a bushing.
This reminds me a little bit of that old, mythical "briefcase mod" for the HK MP5k that you could fire from holding on the handle, only this actually unfolds into a useful firearm. Shame about the malfunctions, though!
Very cool✅.. only seems to malfunction when trying to fire quickly, it’s like the charging mechanism ( or weight of it riding ontop of the slide ) is causing drag n not allowing the case to eject quick enough b4 it picks up a new round ? ( idk if that’s what actually happening but that’s what came to mind after watching ) definitely a cool one to own👍🏼👍🏼
I wonder if the issues have something to do with using the Legion model. I recall that B&T initially recommended using a P320 Carry slide. Even though they now market broader compatibility for slides (and threaded barrels), I'd be interested to know if that would make a difference.
Did you get gas on your support hand where the chassis frame seam spurts out? SBR p320 FCU kinda makes mroe sense with the old approval times. Now that the eform 1's are the same as 4's would rather just have a functional gas system. The whole magazine half button thing for 'safety' is so lame. They were so close and it's so sad they fumbled the bag.
Waiting for my FDE one to show up. My SPC9-SD can is en route back to B&T because it won't thread over the barrel. My first return item back to them for repairs. Sucks waiting 6 months to find out it won't work. 😂
I watch you shoot and one thing that gets me is how quickly you can take a shot once you're happy with your position. Have you covered trigger squeeze ever? If not, could you? Or would you point me to a vid/resource you recommend?
Interesting from an engineering perspective, but it’s not sufficiently camouflaged to make sense and it’s not that small compared to other small sub caliber systems like the TP9 or even the USW. I’d still love to have one, but it’s really as close to useless as a PCC can get. It should also have integrated irons and not an ACRO, which really sets itself off as a tactical item.
I was thinking Milwaukee, Dewalt , tool stickers... I recycle tool cases or tool boxes into gun cases. Significantly lower profile loading up the truck than tactical stuff
No offence meant dude, but in essence it's a stocked pistol that you know has/is going to be back with the manufacturer twice and may well remain unreliable, why would you ever consider it as a truck gun?
@tyrantworm7392 I'd never buy that thing. Lol, I'd get B and T products tough the GHM9 is pretty cool, and something I'd actually consider. Put an MRO and If only they'd make it in 10mm.
Your B&T SUB gun is about the same size as this is when it's completely folded. It just looks like a gun much more than this one does... Not sure if I wouldn't ask for a full refund with the problems you've had already....
Why advertise the new micro tech knives if the night before there not available, the next day they are already sold out real frustrating!!! I was ready to buy as the average guy that really appreciates micro tech knives to show off an boast what I have 😡
