I thought the same, still can't find very many. I liked it, thought it sounded really good. I want their Rotex SF or K version to use on my Surefire rifles.
I have a full size Rotex-X. I'll be honest, It really surprised me. Interesting back note on these. They were designed around M16/C7's gas impingement system. You can run it on piston guns and what not, but it's essentially a RBS before RBS for AR's. So far, I've only ran mine on my 516 10.5. I can say that, yeah, it's definitely made for a non adjustable system. Fist time I took it out, I had my 516 gas system set to Suppressed and it wasn't sending enough gas back to cycle initially. Had to bump it up to Regular for the gas regulator for the fist, idk, 8 or so mags then I was able to switch to Suppressed setting and it still barely cycled, but it did cycle. Unbelievable soft shooting on the Suppressed setting with this can. As far as the sound goes, yeah, there's a 1st round pop, but after that, it was pretty comparable to my AAC 556-SD(which is a tank, minus the QD latch). As for the backing of the ratchet system, yeah, you gotta do that or you're not getting it off, lol. even then, there's a good chance you might remove the flash hider when you go to remove it. Ask me how I know, lol.
That does sound good with three baffles! Does it have a 5.56 bore? I have two Rugged Micro 30 suppressors and they sound good with all three baffles when they’re in configuration. Going into short configuration, with just two baffles, is a noticeable difference in sound. I got a 5.55 flash hider endcap for it, and I’m trying to decide if the extra sound reduction is worth it over the extra back pressure.
Another employee just got the Rugged Razor 5.56 I've been wanting to get out. Especially considering I really like their Alaskan 360. Will hopefully have out sooner than later. Yeah it's one of their 5.56 models. Was really impressed with it. It has me really wanting to at least try if not get their Rotex 5.56 SF or K version. Has their Surefire mount. See them as a better fit for me.
@@Keep_It_Loaded now that they’re made in the US it should come soon. They have great engineering and I think I remember the price being good on most when I believe TFBTV interviewed them.
$600+ on one's currently available through Silencer Shop. Liking the Thermax material so far with my limited use. Obviously like they use inconel as well.
