I used DIP today for 5hrs and the baffles came out 98% clean. Next time I will do overnight. I used a quart canning jar and lid. Mixed 2 cups 5% vinegar and 2 cups peroxide. You could see the scrubbing bubbles eating the lead off. Just wear PPE and do not get liquid on skin or breathe fumes. It makes lead acitate when disolved. Keep warm as it works better when warm. Maybe in a warm oven or warm pot of water (125f).
Came on the rifle. We got this loaned to us, and we never attempted to remove it. Like a DA, I passed on an opportunity to shoot the 7prc one. But....... I did easily remove the MD on that one as I was checking to see if I was going to be able to suppress it.
Here is a Streamlight TLR 7 in a Mckinatec MTA holster (universal holster). Pistol belongs to a friend, though. If it was mine, I'd probably get a LAS Concealment holster as they're currently my favorite brand of holster.
Mine gets delivered this week hopefully!!!! Got the enticer L with the Raw finish as well! I messaged with DDC about getting one and they sent me to a distributor that didn’t have a 19w lead time. I ordered the 556 end cap and the zilch Hub mount to work with my Q cherry bomb. I’m so freaking excited I can’t wait. DDC has such amazing customer service, and are legit real people. Brandon’s wife (I believe it was her, or someone related to him) was so helpful answering all my questions. I was about to buy the rugged razor 30 cal, and opted for this because of that bad ass finish, and the massive difference in DB reduction. Are you using subs in this? Could you please do a video about this thing in long form so I can see it in use? I debated between the S and the L and ultimately decided the L was better for me.
Nice! Nah, in this video, I'm just using some random 223/5.56. This can actually belongs to a friend. So I'd have to bring it up to him as far as making any more content on it. Possibly, but I don't know how long it may be till I can. Thank you though
I know what the manual says, but don’t get this can for anything other than pistol or PCC. 300 BLK supers are going to send this to an early grave. Great for pistol if that’s your thing. Just don’t buy it for rifle or SBR.
I have had the mask for 6 years - Awesome Silencer; many consider it the quietest and “nicest tone”. I waited 9 months under the previous wait times. Since March of this year, as many of you know, our wait times in most cases are under 7 Days. So you know what most of us have been doing😊! I submitted the Rugged Silencer today. It also appears to be built like the tank that the Mask is (the modular option is kool to have - but I usually prefer the benefit of all of the baffles. Both silencers I am sure are awesome; you won’t go wrong in purchasing either (or BOTH 😂🎉). (*I do have experience with the Sparrow and SwitchBack 2.0 - these are also two great silencers; you can get real short with the SwitchBack 2.0 - draw backs of increased sound as also mentioned in this video - but the Switchback 2.0 can get crazy short). Get out and train, shoot and invite friends ! Thanks for the video - I appreciate the comparison.
The trash panda did sound better over video. I picked up a silencer Co scythe ti, and it has less first round pop and sounds better than my Omega 300 on my mcx 9" 300blk. Plus it's super lightweight. It's been holding up well to a few quick mags of super as well. Definitely recommend checking that out for 300blk as well.
Loved the Scythe Ti with the minimal experience that I had with it. Kinda want it for a dedicated can for my Sig Cross in 308 that currently has a Sandman S living on it.
@@Keep_It_Loaded I think it would excel on something like the cross. That's definitely the target gun for that can, but I think they marketed it on 300blk a lot because it actually works really well for that too. If you do get one, try it out there and maybe do a follow up line this. Always fun to see a few cans back to back with subjective opinion on it. Loving all the constant content you put out. Thanks
He’s using the “post sample” full auto lower in a portion of this video and others from the gunshop he works at. In Oregon they are legal, but regular people can’t make a machine gun. You need a special SOT license to do so, and that’s what the gunshop has. You and I can only buy ones that are “transferable”, pre 1986 manufacture, so they are very limited in design and are very expensive. A transferable full auto AR15/M16 that we could buy would start in the 30K price range. You could look at Only The Best Firearms for an idea of the different pre 1986 transferable machine guns out there and their prices.
1986 and older machine guns are legal for purchase for any US citizen that is not prohibited with the addition of a tax stamp. Any machine gun is legal for a licensed class 3 dealer with some stipulations.
@@Keep_It_Loaded Thank you for the info. I just came upon your videos and started following them. I recently picked up my suppressor from you at the store. I'll see you around then.
I used wipe-out bore foam and it cleaned my baffles in about 1hr. Put the baffles in an empty mayo jar and sprayed the foam in. Stirred it around about every 15 minutes adding a touch of foam as it got low. Came out 95% clean and a bit of wiping finished it.
Oh yeah, I'm happy with my decision to get the Nomad for a designated can for her. Your videos helped with my decision. Think I could've extended the distance but only tried it out of curiosity. This setup I got with an idea of 150y and in. Primarily 50y and in.
Don't jinx me, lol. Around 8 years of shooting in MY vehicles and haven't "melted" anything yet. Now black marks on the roof where spent suppressed rounds are hitting is another story.
I’m glad you posted this video, lost track of one of the washers. But it would have been a lot h better if you slowed the video down to normal instead of speeding it up
Not me or my can, yet a friend is in the video. I personally like to see and hear how much more it'll suppress a round, but I personally do not shoot wet.
Haven't shot my Sandman S with a 5.56 cap in a minute. For me, I prefer it with a 30cal flash cap. It's just a tiny bit louder but without the added back pressure of a 5.56 end cap.
Seems like everybody and there brother goes up there to shoot now but it's been that way for awhile I have killed a bear just up the trail from from the direction your shooting! Great vid!
Thank you. Yeah, it's especially busy during hunting season here. If by myself I'm usually at 1st rht 1st lft. I'm actually not the biggest fan of this spot and only use it if I'm shooting before work.
Sounds like you've never shot an AR15/M4 full auto suppressed? Or at least not in a while. They definitely climb on you if you don't have a good base and control. Also, my friend here suffers from a terminal illness that is affecting his balance.
