I received this suppressor yesterday , and all I gotta say is yes wow I own six 556 suppressors and this is absolutely the best. I have it on mk 18 and it’s great. No gas to the face and it will not ring your ears at all. It really is the best 556 suppressor I have ever shot.
I get bored and start scrolling my pocket computer, drooling over all the new cans on my wishlist and scheming on how I could ever afford them. Then I take a few of my cans that I currently do have out and shoot them, and realize that I already have some really nice, high-speed stuff that isn’t only just fine, but awesome gear that 99.99% of the people on earth will never even experience.🤠
B&T , owes you something because I think your channel sold a lot of cans for them this week. I personally bought one after watching your show. I watched everybody else’s take on this can but yours was the most compelling. Thanks. Appreciate you.
I'm really glad that you've mentioned the cancer prevention. I'm also firefighter for over 10 years, so I'm really care about limiting my exposure to toxic gunpowder gases in my free time. And to be honest: everyone should ;) Unfortunately, people don't seem to be fully aware of all the dangers... Great vid, keep it up. Cheers 🤙🏻
Best thing i like about B&T is that despite their guns beinf expensive, their suppressors are actually quite affordable and even go on sale. Thats how I got my Rotex X for $500
Friend of Adam here, he owns not one but TWO gassy ass rifles. That Mk18 upper is no slouch when it comes to over gassing, so if it ran well on a URGI and a 10.3 mk18 DD upper MG.... thats impressive.
I feel that. I was wanting a duel lok 5 and a velos 5.56. My ffl got both at the same time. So I decided to grab the duel lok. 2 weeks later the velos was still there put it on layaway. Filed the paperwork Monday.
B&T supressors are on the same level as Surefire and KAC. I would rather have a B&T than an overpriced RC3 and both of them can attach to the same muzzle devices. I prefer surefire muzzle devices for ARs and im so happy that B&T started selling SF SOCOM QD mounts on their cans.
I'm not sure ceramics have the kind of material properties that would make for good suppressors, they have high heat resistance but they are pretty shit for toughness as they are very hard
@@802PRE because, having owned cans for over 20 years, I can tell you that the company is just as important as the can. I've lived thru companies going under and being bought out. And when your can needs service, you'll appreciate a company who is still around and responsive. I'm sure CAT is solid, but I'll let you be the pioneer. I've been bitten more than once so... 👍👊
@@nfareview That’s partially fair. From what I understand though, while the algorithm he uses to finally score each can/host combo is proprietary, the tests he performs and data gathered to get there are no secret and could be replicated by anyone that wanted to. These tests are standardized in the sense that he’s independent from the manufacturers and follows the same methodology for each combo that’s reviewed, which offers the public a great idea of how every can stacks up to each other as far as their sound signature is concerned. Who else is running such a wide range of suppressors through the exact same objective testing regimen for a particular host while intentionally specifying and eliminating as many variables as possible? Unless the exact cans you’re looking at happen to be featured in the same vid, most other tests or reviews that people see end up being pretty subjective and not very reliable as a way to make consistent comparisons Obviously there are a lot of other factors that play a role in suppressor decisions and that’s where these more general reviews are great imo. They often provide useful insight into ancillary characteristics which can then be weighted in, albeit usually in a subjective/case-by-case way. This isn’t less important necessarily since different use cases might demand different characteristics. Plus they’re also all very cool to watch When it comes to the sound signature though (which is a big one for probably most people), the testing Pew does is highly consistent and therefore valuable. It’d be sweet to see this can be evaluated in this way and compared to other ones in its class
@@user-fx2nj6kb2i I’ll never discount what he does. So don’t take it as that. In my mind, the more of us testing and videoing and writing about firearms and suppressors the better our collective chances at spreading the good word against liberals. 🤘 this is also why I invented Suppressed Fest so I could bring live demos to the public.
@@nfareview no worries here man and please excuse my word vomit above haha, it’s more for other people that may come across it. Totally with you on all that and your videos are sick 🤌 (not sure how much work it’d entail but it’d be great to see these vids mirrored on rumble too btw, it’s starting to grow a lot more)
Still want to see you review the Disavowed Innovations Group 5.56 bantam II and Badger. Company is formerly thermal defense solutions. Additive manufacturing inconel 718.
@nfareview Yes sir! And they will make any suppressor they have ever made for a customer, according to their owner during an interview he did with TGBtv! Now that's service!
We are flying in from Denver again this year - suppressed fest was so much fun last year! We look forward to trying this suppressor out and hope you have a .30 B&T by October!
15 months in and still waiting for my can…my friend ordered his can a few days ago and got it already…stupid atf trust wait times my can is becoming old and I haven’t even shot it
Great video as usual, a bit disappointed with the flash. Looking at the end cap i had high hopes, but sound and seeing the low backpressure is amazing! One thing i would love to know about is that wrap you have on the handguards, i need those on my shorties!!!
New to the game, but have a Sabre 14.5 that is p/w to come out to 16”. I am now going through the suppressor rabbit hole. I don’t think this can will fit my jmac, but how do I find out what muzzle device will work with the B&T? I am wanting to start a 11.5 ar pistol project and wanna make sure I get right device so this can will fit. Thanks for any help
That muzzle blast though 🤣 I just wish there were more color options for suppressors. Finally managed to find one for my Ruger MKIV that matches the ano on it.
@TheMikeshannon and in places in the middle east you can buy a full auto AK for a few hundred bucks, no permits no nothing and we call ourselves "free"
You say it did not speed up the MK18 and no back pressure was noted, but the ejection pattern changed from 3 o'clock to 1 o'clock, indicating over gassed. Any input on this would be appreciated.
Yes the ejection pattern changed plenty on both rifles and he says the Super duty is the gassiest rifle he has but it had perfect 3:30 ejection before suppression and then suppressed it was about 2:00 and he still said he didn’t get gassed out. So there is no continuity in what he said. The Super duty upper looked like it was perfectly gassed. Unless he just means more escapes the charging hand but dang just put a better handle on it.
@@bruehlt I just happened to hear it listening while doing something on the side so when 8 saw your comment, I figured I would tag it. I worked on fireman’s equipment for years, they are some tough guys!
Somebody please tell me why cans are so expensive? Uncle Sam wants an additional 2 Franklins’ to give us permission to possess it. Inconel is $2.75 per pound. Sorry, just can’t feature this ???
@@ThumperX do I really need to explain the costs of running a business and how it differs from a charity? Here’s a small brief sample of costs: building costs and maintenance, machinery costs and maintenance, raw materials, utilities, employee salaries, employee insurance, liability insurance, website costs, product R&D, ammunition, advertising (huge cost), travel to trade shows, trade show booth costs, hotels, food, manual design, manual printing, custom boxes and printing, stocking of product, expansion, recalls, military trials, etc. I mean yeah, a suppressor company should totally sell you a suppressor for $5. Checks out…
@@TheRepublicHasBeenLost Since Hiram Maxim & B.R. Toute the copyright has long expired. You should see the price of a muffler in Finland ! None of my six suppressors are built of gold …
@@TheRepublicHasBeenLost All’Y’all are just delusional. Engineering, business overhead, current competition, buying a new Cadillac for the wife . It needs to be brought under control. Im a lefty shooting right handed firearms. In your opinion, is this "hearing safe" or will i still need some version of hearing protection? Thanks in advance!
Have you ever tested the accuracy difference between direct thread vs quick detach mounts? i.e. same gun, same can, but swap out the mounting system and see if it changes group size/location?
Hey I’m new to suppressors and I wanted this to be my first. I have a Surefire 3 prong flash hider as a suppressor host. What would I need to mate this to the flash hider?
Comparing this to the Huxwrx and Griffin Dual Lok in regards to sound suppression/comfort without ear pro, are they pretty similar? Not sure if I actually clicked submit for this comment earlier, sorry if it's a duplicate.
Hey Adam, Demo Ranch Matt said the other day Vids showing fullauto will get 18+ age restricted now and/or possibly demonetized like they did a few years ago with stupid new rules. Did you hear about that?
@@0x80O0oOverfl0w yeah I could be wrong about that. But they aren’t cracks. I don’t know enough about metal laser sintering to know why those rings are there.
@@TheWuxian yeah I just used their DT mount it shipped with and a YHM DT mount for the other gun. I just removed the can and kept the mounts on the gun to make filming easier/faster in this FL heat. Shockingly the mount never came loose from the suppressor body during shooting considering I was only able to hand tighten it as I left the spanners at home. I do want a Rotex mount for it though. QD would be best.
