In today's video I am doing up some smoked baby back ribs on the Traeger pellet grill. I'm not going to lie, this easy smoked ribs recipe was an absolute hit, and cooking them on the pellet grill made them so easy and delicious! How do you like to cook your baby back ribs? Low and slow or hot and fast? Let me know in the comments below!

Ingredients
-Cookin’ Pellets Hickory Pellets-1 rack of Baby Back Ribs
-Tailgaters BBQ Party Rub
-Man Meat BBQ The Real Kansas City Style BBQ Rub
-Lucky 19 Sauce Company Pablo Honey BBQ Sauce
-1/4 stick of butter
Instructions
Prep:
Trim your ribs so they are uniform and there are no thin edges hanging off.
2. Remove the membrane on the back of the rib.
3. Season the bone side of the ribs first, start with the Party Rub for the first layer, followed by the Man Meat BBQ rub as a second layer.
4. Flip the ribs over and repeat the seasoning process on the meat side. Take some time to season evenly and make this look nice, this is the presentation side.
Cooking
1. Fill the hopper on the pellet grill with Cookin' Pellets Hickory Pellets.
2. Set the temperature to 300º.
3. Once the smoker is up to temperature, put the ribs on and let them smoke undisturbed for 1 hour.
4. After 1 hour, spritz the ribs with plain warm water. Repeat this process after another 30 minutes.
5. After 1 hour and 45 minutes or 2 hours, or when the bark is set and you have the color you want, it’s time to wrap the ribs.
6. To wrap the ribs, use two sheets of aluminum foil. Lay down 3 tablespoons of butter on the foil and then add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of sauce in the butter. Put the ribs on the sauce and butter mixture meat side down and wrap the ribs tightly.
7. Return the ribs to the smoker and let cook while wrapped for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour or until tender, typically between 203-207º between the center bones internally.
8. Once the ribs are tender, form a foil boat or remove the ribs from the foil and put them back on the smoker for 3 minutes to dry them out and bring some color back.
9. After 3 minutes, apply Pablo Honey BBQ sauce and return the ribs to the cooker. Allow them smoke for approximately 5 minutes or until the sauce has tacked up.
10. After the sauce is set, remove from the smoker and let the ribs rest for 10-15 minutes.
11. After the ribs have rested, slice the ribs, and enjoy!

I've been cooking on my big green egg (which I'll always love) for the last 15 years or so and recently got a great deal on a Pit Boss 700FB (still $300 at WM at the time of this post).. I needed some pellet smoking tips, so I started searching youtube.. I've watched many, and I have to say, your vids will be my gold standard for getting something done quick and delicious. I used your technique on a rack of baby backs tonight and they were killer! Like I said I'll always love my egg, but the PB is just so dang easy. Thanks for sharing so many recipes and techniques that I know will turn out fantastic!

Awesome & super helpful video….quick question….your meat temp when checking between the bones after being wrapped was like 180 to 190 ish…is that typically when you want to move the next step? Or is it just by feel? Appreciate the help!
