If I’m a mother I’ll put my baby’s crib in my room cause it’s safer that way in cases like when someone brakes into your home your baby is with you not in a different room
I agree. I think children under 1 years old should be in the parents rooms. When I was just 6 months old there was a fire in the home my parents were renting. The electricity went out, so it took like a while wondering around in the pitch black darkness upstairs to gather up all us kids while a fire was starting below. I was the only baby at the time and I wasn't close to them. If they had taken even a minute too long, its possible i would have died. When they did get me outside I was upside down in my moms arms because she couldn't see which end she grabbed. Things happen SO quick and I do believe infants are safer right next to the parent.
The baby monitor didn't get hacked , the nest cam did. I bet they had default password and the man was talking through the nest cam and the baby monitor was picking it up. There are more videos on RU-vid about the nest cam being hacked because of people not changing default passwords and attackers scan just for the cam and he tried the default passwords and it let him in.
@@twa.t what? just because you don't know an information, doesn't mean no one else does. he even mentioned that this issue has been around so it's not like he was the one who found out about it, no one is stupid enough to try and expose themselves if they've committed any crimes like wanting to kidnap a baby.
@@jaimierae525 no one said carry the baby around with you all day 24.7 just bring its crib to ur room and let it sleep in ur room thats extremely dumb to let a infant sleep alone
Im always in shock when the babies dont sleep in the room with the parents when they are so young. Mine didnt leave my room until they were about a year old. During the day, they took naps in their own room so they were used to it, but at night, MY room. I know a lot of parents do put newborns in their own room, but for me, cot death was my fear. Having them near me I could hear every sound they made at night....plus I think its sad they are in a room on their own.
I listened to every sigh they made, every funny sound. I don't remember sleeping for the first few months because I was terrified they would stop breathing.
Well, everyone’s different 🤷♀️ a lot of people do this to get them used to the idea of sleeping on their own early so that you don’t have a baby later on that whines and doesn’t sleep through the night when they’re left alone
@@whoville1064 i understand that but really..? a baby that’s less than a year old getting “used to” sleeping on their own should not be the way. because God forbid something happens, who can you blame for leaving your baby in another room?
The people who do this should get serious prison time! 😒 What if the parents are so frightened they have a heart attack or stroke?!! No one should ever mess with a child! 😨😰 The fear of something like this happening makes my heart stop! And, my children are adults now! This couple and so many others should get assistance to stop this cruel behavior! 😠
Did you not sleep in the same room with your baby's mother? Why not say they stayed with us in our room instead of they stayed with just their mom? You as a dad count too.
My son is 3 and he still sleeps in the bed next to ours even though we live in a 3 room apartment that doesn't even have stairs. No one is going to take my baby boy, if I wake up I had better see him right there next to me...
Honestly, what would the police even be able to do. If someone is hacking they are obviously using a VPN. And that's even if they decided to dive into your home network and spend a huge chunk of time going through it.
I never had or used baby monitors when my kids were babies. The best monitor I had was my Labrador. My dog would sleep, by choice out side my kids rooms at night and when ever they would cry, fuss or make any kind of noise, my Lab would wake me up immediately!!!
I would be terrified... and if there was a creep watching me with a camera. I would scream, bc i could be undressing and i have a deep fear of showing my body to other people. It just gives alot of people the chills. And me
Yall shaming this mother is shameful. I know plenty of parents that had their baby in separate rooms at 3mos and they have a very close bond to the mother. Also the amount of people listening on their headphones based on these comments is frightening.
@@Kanakana-bo1rg if u use a different password on every website and save them locally it means a breach on another website won’t effect any other accounts of yours… always ALWAYS use different passwords and use 2 factor authentication… 2 Factor authentication can be annoying but u shouldn’t care it adds a entire layer of security that is even harder to bypass or hack. The other thing is just be careful what websites u sign up for… a small website is more likely to get hacked then a big one. Tho in my opinion never live life in fear, just setup the necessary steps and hope everything stays ok.
Good people. These people are doing the he unthinkable. These people are proving that these cameras can be hacked, and providing info about why some people would want to hack into these devices. Without these people hacking into these devices, who knows how many innocent lives would be destroyed by malicious intent
CCTV is the key... I don't know why folks think that what they do is not known about..this was four years ago. If a baby monitor can be hacked, anything can..alot of co workers, teachers, people in stores just don't know how many people are watching them from all over the world and they can hear everything that they say..there are cameras outside that we can't even see and inside buildings.. But people refuse to do right
Stop having cameras I your home people shit.... they will have your address as and know when to come where you are and where the kids are. People need to break up with so much technology
Okay number 1, this is about babies not kids, and if you we're talking about babies then its very dangerous to sleep with a infant, in sleep you could roll on top the baby, put too much weight causing it to suffocate
@@honeyvvictoria I think they ment having a crib bassinet portable baby bed so parents won’t rollover on top of the baby but I mean common that should’ve been given to you as advise from the hospital as a new parents with a newborn
A lot of people have babies in their own rooms, which I can understand, but I was surprised when they said the father ran upstairs to the baby's room. Down the hall is one thing, upstairs when your bedroom is downstairs is another.
@@OverPwned Someone who uses tools from others and don t know how to code their own tools. Today it s more used as an insult stating that these guys don t know what they re doing
@@theattorney5025 If they knew how to do this, then why wouldn't they use a VPN? It would be the very first thing anyone doing this type of thing would learn to do.
@@tonberryking7836 they caught the dudes... he had his real ip I ll find the article... most of the time they don't know what they re doing... 90 percent of hackers don't know what they re doing. Only a small minority knows and these black hat minorities hackers wouldn't be interested into going inside a baby monitor to slur at a baby... they wouldn't gain anything out of it. They would go after infrastructure to drop ransomware or go after banks and more but not a baby monitor. It would be a waste of time for them. And lastly if a hacker has something under control he wouldn't want to be discovered necessarily...
I’m a parent of a 4 year old son and when he was a baby we had a baby monitor for him and I was always watching it constantly just to see if he was okay and we never had this issue but if I did the person saying those words into the baby monitor that would be the very last electronic they hack you can bet on that
It’s incredibly easy to to and calling the guy a ‘hacker’ is giving him way too much credit. The question is why someone would waste their time doing it. Netflix not working? Bored? Put a fake baby in the crib with fake blood around it and see if the idiot calls 911.
