Yet the only people I see rising up to shut down conversation in the style of The Left are Pre tribbers. I looked at concordances, Greek word translation andĺ listened to many teachings by many people on the topic and I just couldn't get an answer that brought rest to me. 2 thess 2.7 ...only HE who now restrains it will do so until HE is out of the way. Not one concordance, dictionary or study notes have interpreted from the Greek the two HEs in this sentence. I started to realize this was intentional. The church says the HE who restrains is the Holy Spirit holding back wrath until the church is gone. They Accept it without proof or study. But it never sat well with me. I didn't believe it. Some have said the restrainer is Michael or the Roman Empire, which also did sit well. And then one day I hear Joel teach it and I have a brain EXPLOSION!!! He said the HE who restrains is SATAN who restrains the AC from going full nuclear until he indwells him. The undwelling happens after satan is kicked out of heaven and is full of fury knowing the clock just started ticking. Finally an answer that brought peace to my spirit!!! There are SO MANY FALSE TEACHERS out there is ridiculous.

Jesus wasn't merely speaking metaphorically when He told us to literally watch for it. "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near." God's promise was: "Never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” Not never again will there be cataclysmic global upheaval. The sea and waves roaring does not mean a global flood. But neither does it mean that the cosmic disturbance described in Revelation doesn't effect the seas. It will. In fact a third of all the ships at sea will be destroyed. That sounds pretty big to me.

I could speculate. But that is all it would be. I do know Scripture identifies it as "that mighty city" and describes her destruction in the following way: "The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come." That sounds like it is describing a literal city to me. And the kings of the earth keep their distance "for fear of her torment". Possibly nuclear? They're afraid to get too close, so who knows? I certainly think that Joel could be on the right track with the idea that it could be Mecca. I certainly think The Bible focuses on The Middle East as the epicenter of the great final conflict between Christ and anti-christ. So obviously the sons of Isaac and Ishmael play a crucial role. How it will all play out is a question for the ages. But we shall certainly see.

I've been seeking and studying because I am in love with Christ. I was invited to a Church on August 16, 2015, by an acquaintance I had met. Then He raised my arms and crossed my wrist chaining me as if I was under arrest, but with these chains, there was no budging whatsoever. The chains stayed on me untie The Lady Dorothy, a Senior who The LORD picked and she knew scripture. She asked to pray for me after the service and I nodded yes. The Holy Spirit always came for me. I believe Mystery Babylon is represented as a very INFLUENTIAL world-wide ORGANIZATION of FALSE religion, including Christendom, who fornicates ( merges) with Satan's Beast, the world-wide SYSTEM of governments that does her bidding. It is not an actual city being rebuilt, that's a man's idea. The Holy Temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem and the Abomination (One World Religion) seeks to take over. They are definely a great power within the Mystery Babylon system but they aren't exactly head leading power of it. A major one yes but they aren't alone. There are other groups alongside their head leaders in this kind of power. They may certainly be there as part of the Beast system when the Beast eventually arises to rule with great evil the Final World Empire. But The God Culture have a different take of the Great Babylon city itself. They read and research much of scripture and history and understanding the crisises and developments and doctrines involved. They included entire passages including passages from the Book of 2nd Esdras in their research not just fragment verses but entire passages to support their grounds. And that city will likely be Jerusalem of Modern Israel.

It is indeed a mystery that can be solved, and i certainly dont think its Babylon being rebuild. However, i think Joel is far from being a fool. I strongly disagree with some of his views, and align with others, but know he is brother and should not be called a fool🙂

Not sure which minute of which video you are referencing. But I could imagine that the language of burial is taken from Ezekiel 39:11 "On that day I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel" which goes on to speak in verse 17 about calling the birds to eat the flesh of the fallen. In Revelation 19 verses 11-21 (the area of scripture that you are referencing) speaks of this same event. Much of this is symbolic in nature. Surely Gog/The Beast/The Antichrist will be "defeated" in this battle and then thrown into the lake of fire. Your standards for Joel Richardson's teaching on prophetic/ apocalyptical language is unfair especially considering you have not spoken with the man directly to clarify his statements.

Mr Richardson is commenting on Isaiah 14 there, speaking most liberally on vs 9-10, as best as I can reckon, with that description of the burial of the lawless one of which he is commenting. My reading of this passage suggests a metaphoric description, Mr Richardson is suggesting a more literal interpretation. As my previous comment to which you responded indicates, the most plain description of the demise and judgement in hellfire of that individual appears in Rev 19:20 which is not subject to interpretive speculation or confusion. Therefore I'm going with that clear understanding and am suggesting that Mr Richardson can be pretty loose with his interpretations.
