Babymetal (ベビーメタル) "THE ONE - Unfinished ver" THE FIRST TAKE Reaction! 

This is the same version we heard at "The One - Stairway To Living Legend " in 2021 when they went on hiatus sealing the group officially and thanking all of us, The One. This one is like a short version of that, hence the "Unfinished Version" title, so highly suggest you to watch that moment in the official YT place. We're so proud of Momoko, this is actually the second time she's in an official MV as MomoMetal, the first one was in Mirror Mirror a week ago.🍑❤️ Also the same day they released this, they started the Sabaton's Europe Tour at Leeds, yesterday was London time and today is Cardiff turn, everyone is having a blast with them coming back to this live tour. I think Grington300 went to see them at the OVO Arena Wembley enjoying the newer songs like Divine Attack and Monochrome, hope he can give you more highlights although there's already fancams around showing things like the new badass Kami Band mask with horns.👹 See you next time 🦊🤘🔥

BM does not dare to appear on TV or commercials or sing theme songs for films, dramas or anime, so they have extremely little exposure in Japan and are not that well recognised in the country. THE FIRST TAKE is a very popular channel in Japan, so it is a very effective place to promote, but BM dared to choose THE ONE instead of a new song. THE ONE is a very important and special song for BM and for the fans. It could be a message song from the new BM to the fans. Sorry if the English is strange and not understood🙇 From Japan🦊

Great reaction as always and good job uploading this one since it's been a lot of issues with copyright on this one. Very happy for Momoko being with Su and Moa on The First Take singing "The ONE" which is considered a love letter to their fans (also called "The ONE"). Actually they call "The ONE" to the sum of their fans, BABYMETAL (the ladies themselves) and all their team, including musicians, songwriters, managers, choreographers, technicians, roadies and all kind of staff (aka team BABYMETAL). They talked in an interview about how their people struggled during these last years of uncertainty. So the importance of singing this particular song on that platform at this precise moment.

The One is Babymetal's love letter to their fans, so its a very emotional song both for them and for the fans, but I'm not sure if it is a song that will resonate with people who aren't part of The One.

👍 👍 BabyMetal has been getting great reviews on their new tour overseas. They have performed at Leeds and at Wembley Arena in London this far. There are many fan cam videos of those concert performances of many songs already on RU-vid. The new songs on the set lists were Monochrome, Metalizm and Divine Attack and they look and sound great. Was there ever any doubt?

Welcome Momometal.🦊'The One' was the last song on the second album in 2016. The Japanese edition of the album has a half and half English-Japanese version, the international edition has the full English version that the girls had challenged themselves to do as a mark of respect and appreciation to the foreign fans who they noticed had been learning Japanese to sing along with them as they toured the world. This is effectively their love letter to the fans (who they also named "THE ONE"). This is an "unfinished" version ie it is stripped back with piano and strings only (also it is very much shortened having just the first verse). The full version is a Prog Metal ballad (if that is a thing), but they also do a version which starts like this with piano and strings - then the drums and guitars all join in half way through. If you didn't already see it, the official video is well worth seeing - that is the Japanese version. Legend S is possibly the best unfinished start going into the full version, Tokyo Dome had the extended full English version, Stairway to Living Legend probably the most emotional 'unfinished' version (a longer version of this one).

Having heard all the versions of The One, including the Unfinished version, this wasn't a big shocker...I would have preferred them doing the Japanese version, which had a longer parts for (then) Yui and Moa, which would've been great for Momoko and Moa. As for their costume, i kinda like what Su and Moa were wearing for the Metal Kingdom video a bit more. 🤘🦊🤘

With Utada, Ayu, and Kumi-ku nearing the end of their careers, Su is the logical next generation of Japanese Pop Superstar.

Did you guyS miss BABYMETAL'S piano version of MONOCHROME on THE FIRST TAKE a few weeks ago? They did this song also and released it second. It's next level and you really should do a reaction to it. Kitsune dao!
