Today I'm reacting to BABYMETAL and their latest First Take performance; a performance of The One featuring newly crowned third member MOMOMETAL! This performance is unbelievably stunning as expected. Su's performance is especially captivating, and this band remind us all why their performances are so celebrated. Just incredible. 🙌🦊

It just reminds me so much of Living Legend where it was used as a goodbye. Then they use it again with intruducing Momoko to signify a new beginning. That's ingenius.

Yesterday they released this and later they performed in the UK once again at Leeds for the Sabaton's Europe Tour, a set of 8 songs it was a blast. Thanks for sharing this.🦊🤘🔥

Great reaction as always, thanks! Yep, "The ONE unfinished" version is actually a thing. They hinted it twice at the Legend S shows in 2017 with the regular version on the second half. Later in 2021, just before the hiatus, they released "The ONE - Stairway to living legend" which is basically like this musically but a little extended. My thoughts about this: the new outfits are gorgeous, Momoko is the best fit for BABYMETAL and they are just PERFECT. Period. 🤘🦊

When she's by herself, Su's performance style reminds me of Diana Ankudinova. Every movement is planned, rehearsed, and executed with precision in order to make the audience feel what the performer wants the audience to feel. There isn't as much spontaneity as with other performers, but neither Su nor Diana suffers for that.

Thanks for nice react! As with all FTs, the excess is trimmed to the limit, and the skill and beauty of pure singing appear. Great again this time. It was a wonderful aria that harmonized well with the chords of MOA*MOMO.

Still waiting to see a picture of our new trio on your wall😏😏😏 Having heard all the versions of The One, including the Unfinished version, this wasn't a big shocker...I would have preferred them doing the Japanese version, which had a longer parts for (then) Yui and Moa, which would've been great for Momoko and Moa.🤘🦊🤘

Momoka was a contestant on 2021 Girls Planet 999 and eliminated in the 5th episode. She could've been a member of Kep1er. They're touring the U.K. with Sabaton, right now. Just played the OVA Wembley Arena. Fancam videos were amazing from both groups

This is basically the same version as Stairway to Living Legend but shorter. I would have preferred another song since we've heard this version of The One already but it's ok. I just love watching and listening to Su sing.

👍 👍 BabyMetal has been getting great reviews on their new tour overseas. They have performed at Leeds and at Wembley Arena in London this far. There are many fan cam videos of those concert performances of many songs already on RU-vid. The new songs on the set lists were Monochrome, Metalizm and Divine Attack and they look and sound great. Was there ever any doubt?

While Babymetal is always talented no matter the era, I'm not too keen on their recent performances. It feels like they went from Klingon to Romulan, from full of mirth and energy and to cold and calculated.
