I love the dad's reaction!! He really wanted to share his excitement with his daughter even though she didn't like it. You can see his love for Babymetal and I love !! Great reaction video!! Dad needs to react with someone with the same excitement with him! I can see him just fan girling inside hahaha
She is at that age where it's cool to not like anything too much. If you like something you leave yourself open to being ridiculed which at that age most kids aren't mature enough to accept that liking other things from what they like is okay.
Ela nunca esboça reações com as composições. Ela não sente nenhum tipo de emoção além de raiva e desdém. Muita raiva e desconforto. Seria interessante fazer uma inversão. Ela mostrar ao pai qual sonoridade faz diferença na vida dela.
Your daughter was already confused when the intro came in. And then the 3 girls came out and she looks more confused on whats happening . haha I love it.
Takes me awhile to watch certain people react to my favorite girls. Your smile put a big smile on my face. Plus the excitement you showed trying to describe them to your daughter. I'm a year late to your channel. Loyal fan and subscriber now!
I love the dad smiling and vibing, looking over to the daughter all expecting to see her vibing, and the daughter is just not into to it. Well we all have our own taste which is fair enough. Thanks for the reaction video.
My fault on the compilation video choice, I was not aware that is what it was when we did the reaction. Sorry everyone, still decent version and worked for the reaction with her.
In my opinion, this song and their show were really boring. It's not comparable with their song *Headbanger* ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QEsOaMbNFww.html
@@TheUnderdogDe a classic, but it's the one he already checked with his son. I think No Rain No Rainbow or Akatsuki would fit better her tastes, especially with lyrics as they are both very touching.
I hope she doesn't play poker ... I would go all in on a pair of Kings. She would just scowl with her "whatever" face as she turns over the pocket rockets.
Both your expressions through out the whole video were funny. She gave this like what's wrong with you are you serious look and you just have this still frame devious smile through out the video lol
⚡ 💀 💕 / 🏃♀️👹 While Megitsune is still my favorite, I think this is their cutest choreography. If much of their charm is in the blending of the cute and the brutal, this song is a great example.
Megitsune is Great O-matsuri song with Japanese Folkrore Dance " Yosakoi - Sohlan " choreography. I expect New Song " PA PA YA " will grown up to Great Natsu - Matsuri Song. Check to Legend " Y " Baptism YMY XX tonight Yokohama.
Awesome reaction once again! Would love to see you and one of your kids react to Megitsue next. I think the official MV is the best but what do I know, there are people in these comments that know much better.
Who the hell~ walks into Budokan at just 14 years old. ..and changes history ??If you've played Budokan, you have made it. If you've played a sold-out Tokyo Dome two nights in a row - you are immortal! BABYMETAL 4 LIFE.....
Well, they had a great first three years! But... things really died down for way too long. I think a good 2-3 years with barely any new releases. Recently it seems like they are going for a resurgence with a new album and such.
I would honestly love to see what Ghost's Tobias Forge could come up with if they ever collaborate together. He has such a taste for innocent evil that he could have some fun with this group.
New subscriber !!!:) waiting for more babymetal reactions !!! Dude i love your reactions... As expected from your daughter.. Its clearly not her type of music But i had the same reaction like her when i first listened to babymetal. Now im fucking crazy about them !!! You just have to be open minded.
Her reaction is not surprising. It's really a different culture. I see most of Japanese girls loves BABYMETAL and they even dance into it! Please more BABYMETAL! :)
It is the reaction of a person who does not see a conjecture, in this case it is not because of the different culture, as I said before, if you leave the musicians without the girls, it is stupendous.
Well not only that but I doubt any 13 year old wants to sit and watch people play instruments. I'm sure it seemed boring to her until the actual song began.
This is good honest raction.Let me talk about my BABYMETAL experience. When I first time watched BABYMETAL on youtube, "WTF!? I don't like this. I can't listen this kind of shit anymore!" A few weeks later, Somthing is stuck on my head, "Let's watch them one more time...I still don't like this. But...". Futher weeks later,"I hate to say this, BABYMETAL is pretty good." and Now,"I love BABYMETAL! I love BABYMETAL! There is no other music like them!"(Sorry for my bad English, English is not my first language. I hope my sentence make sense.)
Mine was a bit weirder: I got into Karate official video and was about :"man, this is cool!" Then I checked the comments and found that I commented that same video right after it went out, two years before. 🤦🏻♂️😅
I really love this, it's so diffirent and just fun...great music! I would recommend Karate or Gimme Chocolate, the music videos 😊 Lol her face was priceless, but I get it, it's a lot to take in! 😂
Ya, I'm going to check that one out soon, probably need about 2 weeks or a little longer before I can react with it though. Have a lot of videos queued up for the next 2 weeks so we'll continue to post, but going on vacation.
Man you need to check her pulse haha Catch Me If You Can was the first Babymetal song I ever saw it was recommended by RU-vid and shocked the living heck out of me immediately threw me deep into the Foxhole haven't climbed out yet
I ain't never climbing out. Got further down the foxhole and discovered the group these amazing ladies came from: Sakura Gakuin. Been a big fan of both ever since.👍
I think a lot of these heavier bands come off as "dad bands" since it's older dudes on stage with mostly older guys in the audience. I think a girl like her won't be won over by that as much since there's probably a part of her that feels she's "not supposed to like bands like that". She seems like she's started to come over a bit when it's a female lead with a strong voice (Nightwish/Evanescence). It gives her something to identify with while going through this weird world that she doesn't understand very well. In that regard, being on the topic of Babymetal, I wonder if a song like Akatsuki or Rondo of Nightmare might be more up her alley. I'll put another vote in for Megitsune though. I wonder what she'll think of Band-Maid. She might like the band Amaranthe.
Haha, It looked like she wanted to kill someone through the whole song. That's fine. This particular song is one of those, either you love it or you hate it, kind of things. If you're new to Babymetal and don't really get the concept of the band it's easy to see how it can be hard to take. Once a person 'gets it' they will see how good it really is.
I've only recently gotten into them, myself. I alway's kinda bypassed them, as well as Jinjer. But now, I really like both band's. I can't wait to see Jinjer in September. Baby Metal will be playing a few week's earlier. I may have to see how much tickets are for that one also. Bad thing is, I have to go to Atlanta..lol
But that is the gist of it. IT'S A REACTION VIDEO. If she doesn't give a monkey's ass music videos, let her stay in her room snapchatting with her friends.
This is funny. Like me trying to convince my teenage daughter to listen to my music. At least she's sitting there, more than I'd get mine to do so well done!
The ONI is a mythical flesh eating ogre the children play hide and seek with in the schoolyard and the Kami band dress in traditional japanese burial gowns
Her non reaction is mired in her "internal Dialogue" which was likely going a mile a minute lol. I wonder if she'd like "The ONE" which is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard lately.
@@hairlokk8672 I doubt she would have liked "Death" as it's pretty heavy. Something more like "Doki Doki Morning" or "Ii Ne" maybe...though, I doubt it as she just doesn't seem to like the blend of cute/kawaii culture and Metal...
if your daughter like to watch how Babymetal crowd can be then she must watch BABYMETAL at MetRock 2015. it's 30+ minutes non stop full of magic and fun.
@@GlitchintheMatrixMultiMedia If you don't want to do the full 39 minutes (although it would be great) here is the opening number - 'Megitsune' (which I think you were looking into anyway) www.dailymotion.com/video/x5fak8n The crowd is awesome.
there are better produced live videos of theirs i hope you have shared with her. this is the first reaction of yours that i've watched so i'll have to go look to see if she changed her mind later on.
Baby Metal is somewhat of an acquired taste. I remember being perplexed the first time I saw them, but kept coming back. Now I love it! Even watching your daughter's reaction. I could see her frown shifting upwards towards the end there. haha
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but one of the guitarists in this video passed away at the end of 2017. He was visiting an observatory with his family and took a fall. He passed away in the hospital shortly thereafter.
Thanks for the reaction! This was a fan made compilation, not a great choice for the song. I'm not sure what kind of music your daughter likes, but more poppier BABYMETAL would be "iine live budokan black night" (pronounced ee-nay), "uki uki midnight black night live", their very first song "doki doki morning live budokan black night", a full on techno remix "headbanger night of 15 mix live", or a softer Su solo "no rain no rainbow". Can't wait to see more!
The look on her face when Dad said drumroll!! I think that was the meanest facial expression I've ever seen from her. See looked like she wanted blood atm Then it's like she comes to and covers her mouth like "omg I hope nobody saw that" 😂😂
I think she would have enjoyed Doki Doki Morning more but like other comments said, it's not for everyone. However, Babymetal is definitely for me. Kitsune up! 🤘🦊🍔🍅
One of the older songs like "ijime dame zettai" or "iine" or "Doki Doki morning" might be the ones she might be interested? My daughter liked the"Doki Doki morning" when she was 7..
I'd guess people were saying this song for your daughter because of what it is about (playing hide & seek or tag with an Oni - a Japanese flesh eating ogre) and because it is just good fun with the running dance etc. The compilation video wasn't the worst I've seen, but compilations never do Babymetal any justice. I think musically, so she can see the girls taking more of a lead plus these are a bit more melodic, 'Karate' (live at Download 2016 but the official video is very good and conveys the story), 'Yava' or 'Meta Taro' may appeal more to her - possibly 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' (Bullying, No More, Forever) or (arguably their best song - it regularly tops fan polls) 'Megitsune' too. For possibly their most 'pop' style you could show her their very first song and video (they were 13 and 11 when it was filmed) 'Doki Doki Morning'. I'll try to find some links (avoiding compilations).
@@GlitchintheMatrixMultiMedia It happens, you weren't to know, I'm just glad you get what they are about and are enjoying them. Here are a couple of links at least: Meta Taro live at Wembley vimeo.com/317844177 YAVA (Big Fox Festival 2017) www.dailymotion.com/video/x6iragl as it is on Dailymotion a reaction will probably only be possible if you 'link & sync' ie leave the video and audio out of your own video, put the link in the description for us to open in a second window, count down "3 2 1 go" and we click start as you do to see what you are watching. The other songs I suggested should be easy enough to find (IDZ at Sonisphere 2014 is a good one).
Defiantly not for everyone, I'm more in to the Warning Band, less production and more heart, it looks like over explore little girls not really loving what there doing and more in to it for the money then the music, but that's just me, everybody is invited to agree to disagree with my point of view, any way the music is great, just the little girls not my thing
@@penichemorales77 Yes, The Warning is 'heart and soul'. After watching 6 Baby Metal video's i've wasted enough time with them. In my opinion it's just all about the show. If people like that stuff, OK. Fine. It's not my thing.
@@erikdevries2215 what I'm considering is the fact that this band is a major production, where the producer is in total control of what the girls do and don't do, how they dress, etc.. they sign a contract for a good pay and follow instructions, on the contrary with the Warning girls, they have total control of there artist production, how they dress, what they want to write about, there music, they have the passion to pursue there artistic development, not only the money, that comes in good time. I personally don't dislike the Asian bands and don't have any doubt about there talent, it's just my opinion 👍
I was confused the first time hearing this. And then i had to question "What would they be categorized as?" And in a interview i watched it was answered. Baby Metal is a idea of it all.
