Funnily enough, even if this is one of the most famous pieces in a cellists' repertoire, I'd never actually learnt Bach's 1st Suite until late this summer and had the chance to present it in a solo-recital . This concert was supposed to take place in a small church, but due to governmental restrictions, we live-streamed this concert from a private home in Brussels, with no audience.
