In this video we completely tear down a Bachmann Branchline 32-816 Class 47/3 47365 'Diamond Jubilee' in BR Railfreight Distribution Livery (model train). I cover how to remove the shell, oil the gears inside the trucks/bogies, lubricate the flywheels, repair the windows and finally install a DCC decoder with BEMF.
Quick Note I made about "ordering on ebay or hattons" being risky. Allow me to clarify. Hattons is a fantastic company to order from, they are always very upfront about the condition of the product. The comment was actually towards sellers on eBay, some sell excellent product but others as I'm sure you know, sell sub par or in some cases broken items. They don't often last long as feedback will usually weed them out. In any case, hopefully this clarifies my comment a bit further. Thanks!

Absolutely fabulous, my 2010 Bachmann 47suddenly stopped working but it was stored for about 10 years I did fit a Bachmann decor when it was new so il remove the shel again and check for any loose connections Many thanks

Wd40 on a cotton tip will take off the glue and frosted look

@@PendulumStation i did it with a hornby class 67 that the front windscreen fell out and had to reglue and ended up with a dirt big glue finger print and my friend told me to use the wd 40 on a cotton tip

@@PendulumStation also if you take off tampo print with a small precision screwdriver and left with the outline of the print wd40 on a cotton tip will take off the outline of the tampo print left behind

You think thats bad try a Bachmann class 70 thats got 15 to remove the bodyshell

I would love too! I'm actually on the hunt for some Class 37s which are a bit hard to find state side (that on my unicorn Class 43 that doesn't cost an arm and a leg). I may have a couple as early as this month :)

I got two one has a bit of a running issue that I think is a service thing would love to send it if u be up for servicing but its the cost of postage hope u find one I have to say the sound chip from Jimmy are amazing

And if u call bachmann thay still do the 3 pice snowplough I just got some for my 37s and that uses two slots not the nem pocket and thay are only a couple pounds

Oh man that would be great. I hate that the current snow ploughs use the pocket.

Just ring bachmann I haven't seen the 47 but j believe thay will fit as the 37 and 57 uesd similar bogie fames in modle form well in the way the 3 piece snowplough are concerned at least with out seeing 9ne in hand I can't say but looking to get one soon in the gwr so will let u know lol

Don't hold me to it though worth giving bachmann a ring I know for definite that with the 37 the 3 pics snowplough works as just don't that to mine
