The beginning of the series is always a bit more child friendly that the rest. I mean One Piece didn’t get dark until the Nami arc, there were a few deaths but nothing really dark. Naruto was kinda dark with Haku (the whole tool thing). But I feel like MHA will also get a bit darker. (I’ve read the manga and there’s this point with A LOT of blood, as well as darker events in season 4) But some people just don’t like these types of anime. Although they have a lot of shone not “I’ve seen this before” features, there’s plenty different about the series. Hopefully they don’t mess up the anime like Naruto Shippuden did with all those fillers, and so far Horakoshi is doing a better job writing his characters (Kishimoto was not good at writing girls), and a pretty good job with villains too. (Shimura is gonna get some character growth, pretty obvious)
