Hi Brian, it was me that made the comment about suffering/sweating in the sun. I realised afterwards that it might have seemed like a bit of a nasty dig, it certainly wasn't meant that way. It's your choice where you live, and I've no complaints whatsoever.

Yep, cameras with dual card slots are the way forward. I do exactly the same as you, fast card slot 1 with RAW files & JPG on 2nd card.

@@_JD_MUSIC_ hello Jacob, likewise it was great meeting you too. I still find it so odd when people recognise me but it’s a pleasant surprise. I didn’t get the chance to find out what you shoot subject wise. It would be interesting to know how your FF mirrorless shooting experience goes. Great camera choice in my opinion. I rarely get into the town centre but if you ever get to Costa on London Road look out for me as I’d love a coffee and a chat. Very best wishes

@@ThatMicro43Guy I've been there a couple times, I'm up visiting some friends here but I'm originally from Leicester and I'm up here until the 25th as I start uni again on the 30th in Leicester, think I'll take my camera around with me more just incase I bump into you again. Been enjoying full frame Mirrorless so far, lenses are more expensive them m43 lenses as I used to have the olympus OM-D e-m1 mark ii and the lumix gx8 which both were great cameras (bit I preferred the olympus) with the panasonic 12-60mm lens, olympus 45mm f1.8 and the olympus 40-150 which were all cheaper then the full frame canon lenes. Currently have the rf 24-50mm lens, the ef canon 50mm f1.4 usm , the Tamron 75-300 and the sigma 150-600mm contemporary lens.

Hi Brian, Whilst I wish and hope your planned move to Cyprus exceeds your expectations as an expat returned to the UK I'd like to share my experiences. - I Lived in Tenerife for 3 years. - I got what can only be described as island sickness, it was too small, every day was groundhog day. The reason I came back to the UK was my wife was unwell and didn't fancy going blind in a place where English wasn't the first language (Glaucoma sufferer). Coming back to the UK we were entitled to nothing, zilch, zero. That's after just 3 years away (they ignored the previous 30 years contributions). If you do go check everything out, particularly if you have to return. For example at the time I lived in Tenerife, should a husband die, his portion of the estate didn’t pass to the wife free of death duties (they were to us excessive, they taxed the dead not the living). I used to go fishing on a beach alongside many widows too whom I gave whatever I caught, I was fishing for pleasure, they were fishing to eat.
