After the Bicol Trip... I headed home to Mindanao.
It was so wonderful spending days in Bicol with people from around the world, but I am also very happy to be back in Cagayan de Oro, surrounded by friends, and good vibes! Although... it was a bit shocking when the earthquake hit this morning. First and foremost, it is a reminder that we must always be prepared. I also want to pass along positive thoughts to those in Cotabato and Davao areas who have been affected... it truly is scary after the initial shock.
This video is just the end of our Bicol adventure, and a little life update about what is to come...

Wow Bicol! I am a Bicolano and happy that you visited my home province. Kulas, you can visit Caramoan in CamSur and Catanduanes also. Puraran in Baras Catanduanes and Northern part also where I grew up.

thanks for visiting bicol even though you did not go to some places like. caramoan.donsol.matnog sorsogon.. I hope you could stayed there much longer so you can see many whirlpool during full moon at calintaan island in matnog sor.

The word "Mayon" I think came from the word "Magayon" meaning beautiful. And so indeed beautiful but deadly when it erupts.

Last leg of Bicol tour w/ TPB. Tnx Kyle n Kumar 4 sharing ur experiences traveling around Bicol. It was a lot of fun. As u were walking towards d plane, yonder d majestic Mayon volcano in d backdrop seems growing smaller, n when d plane finally off ground d glaring red-orange sun just about to disappear too beyond d horizon bidding farewell my friends. But goodbye is not d end, it only means see u back soon. Amping guys another adventure experience 4 d books...

South Mindanao took a couple hard knocks. ( I have been through earthquakes in the PI. A friend told me in the 1990 Luzon earthquake, he watched a VW beetle jump 4 feet in the AAFES parking lot at Clark AB. ) My wife from Bicol, Naga.
