Hi sweetheart. I will admit I have never heard of them before, but what a voice! He kind of reminds me of Joe Cocker. He just has that raspy voice. Absolutely fantastic song. Man, that was my first thought too! That first bar had me thinking back to Otis singing ' I've Been Lovin' You (Too Long)'. This dude has got soul! And fabulous production too, with those beautiful horns, and that gorgeous peddle steel falling in there. I'm old enough to remember when Otis was still with us, but this guy comes in a very close second. These young dudes today tripping over their hip hop (and what not) need to get real and check out the history of soul, R+B and the blues. I'm so grateful to the folks who are prommoting this beautiful music.
