back to the basics, took the day to work on some turning.. boy do they need work. but you know what they say? "one day? or day one" let this be day one on the journey to getting back to that good on the bike feelings
Hold your elbows high, almost even with your shoulders, you'll notice a better feel and control. When entering a turn, move toward the front of the bike, over the tank as much as you can to weight the front tire to plant the front. When you exit the turn, move back off the tank, mid-section of the seat or more, on the bike to put your weight on the rear tire to gain traction or stand and pull up on the bars a bit.
Thanks! I’m going to have to give this some more practice next time I ride! Taking time off from riding has really messed with my technique and I found that it’s almost like having to relearn everything all over again! Going to take this advice and give a try next time!
Yessir!! I realize that my corners, especially right handed corners need ALOT of work, as well as flat corners & dry surfaces (like out at the desert). Few more sessions like this and may be able to get my cornering better!
