Tweaking and aggravating my lower back has been my constant Achilles heel! Recently I had to stop including Kettlebell swings and even goblet squats in my training because my back would get so tight afterwards. I'll add a tip here.... Add Grass fed Collagen as a source of protein! It is one of the only foods that goes directly to joints and tendons (they dyed it and tested lab rats on this).
Thank you for the video! It’s definitely a mindset issue just going trough a 3rd ACL-meniscus revision/reconstruction and getting back on track... Amazing video quality as always 🙏
Thank you! Tweaked my back today going too heavy to quickly on rack pulls in my PUMP track - thought of you straight away , as I remembered an email you sent out - thank you for the education and inspiration - ❤
Heard of you through Ben (knees over toes). Appreciate the great info super well laid out (and well edited video). Love it’s a longer format as the theme requires. Keep it up! 🙏
So helpful information at the right time pls make a video about knee injury and how a triathlete can get back on track again! Most of the things u said are very close but a few different strength exercises will be appropriated! God bless u and ur family!
Great video, thank you marcus. I’m just coming out of a back injury so was really helpful :) and as I’ve said before hopping on your programming had really helped me get back training pain free.
Hej Marcus just start to follow your chanel. Just to inform you that I do follow many others and have my own Chanel in polish language. But you really impressed me about your knowledge and quality of content. Keep up good work. I’ll be watching you and hope you really reach top level on Yotube. All the best. Regards, Tomasz.
Very informative. Thank you. You’re videos tend to be very practical as well. I appreciate your content. Unrelated question: what do you do with your outside equipment in order to protect it from the rain? Or is it all weather proof? I love being outside as well but I always hate putting everything back in my garage after.
I could do a shoulder version in the future though the beginning sections of this video can apply to many types of injury. Hope you shoulders feel better soon
I never had it diagnosed. But given the symptoms I had years back and some doctors I have spoken to I would guess there is a small lesion at the disc level.
I have been trying to rehab a knee injury for a while now. I'm at the point where I can do strengthening exercises and have been trying to do different unilateral movements to target quads, hamstrings, glutes, etc. I can do these with less than 3/10 on the pain spectrum and am able to slowly increase the weight without pain, but then for the next like 3 days my knee feels stiff and swollen and stretching and mobilization don't seem to help. Is this a sign that it's just not ready?
the swelling and stiffness might be a sign that you are intensifying too quickly. and if it is without pain it might just be part of the healing process
Hey Marcus , Great video, it´s a bit off the topic , i just got into crossfit (functional fitness) 6 months ago, and its been 6 days i smoked my last cigarette , any tips to clean my lungs ? Thanks for the tips ...
