Nice Tosh, What a spectacular area of rocky forested shores , waterfalls, & white water , awesome backcountry campsite's. also loved the ruien you came across nice to come across things from the past. Epic footage through out of this gorgouse River trip, that area is true Gods country , This had to be one of your best video's yet Tosh ! 👍, Nice to see Jason out on what was a fanstatic canoing adventer. That is some amazingly rugged scenery Tosh. Looks like it should be called the "Waterfall River", there were so many impressive falls to navigate! I bet you wished you were there earlier in the season to do a few less carries, but then again, some of those rocky sections would be absolute roller coster monsters in Spring! Anyway, a fun watch. 🙂👍

Tosh, have you ever tried standing and poling? Its a great way to work your way slowly down these super fun low water rivers. Dragon flies are cool.

The water is really really low this year with lack of rain. Usually its way higher. The year I did it, I took out at Wendigo Lake but that river was the first ever rapids I ran and I was solo. But it was after a week of rain and the water levels were Spring height and very fast. What a difference in seeing the river that low. I camped at the bottom of Raven Falls as well. Welcome to my backyard. I just live down the highway a bit.

@@toshselfpropelled yup, born and raised here. Went as far as North Bay for college but came back. Had tons of opportunities to make more money out west and down south but I still live by the saying; money don't buy happiness. Everywhere those opportunities were, didn't have the lakes and rivers around like I have here. The backwoods is like my home. It's hard to leave this place. My buddy wanted me to go west with him and he said; sell your house, sell your boat.... and I stopped him by saying; you had me at sell my house, but sell my boats?? Hell no!! I'll stay here thanks with water around me.
