Thanks for watching bud! Yeah especially on these one nighters I try to eat really good! Nothing very scenic to see on the main backpacking loop but those shelters were pretty nice. Wish we had more places with them in Ohio and West Virginia.
You know that there is a whole other set of shelters? You guys stayed at Pioneer Shelter 2. There are also the Souix Sites with 5 shelters and tent sites like Pioneer as well.
I’m not sure why but the other shelters were closed when we got there per the Ranger station. Assuming it was just a temporary deal. Thanks for watching.
