Congratulations David Tennant!!! :D I am so pleased for you!! :) This was a well deserved award for your superb acting over the past few years from Doctor Who to Broadchuch to Casanova to The Escape Artist, everything I have ever seen you do I just absolutely love it :D And I would really love to meet you one day :D Not just because of your excellent acting but because you seem like a very nice down to earth sort of guy :)
OMG But...no. Bond is too one-dimensional ("boring machismo" to quote Richard Wilson) for David. Although...wait a minute...he could be a whole different kind of Bond. He embodied the Doctor like no one before him, and TOTALLY OWNED it. Maybe that's the next iconic character like the Doctor and Hamlet he needs to knock out of the park, and make almost impossible to follow. I was rooting for Idris Elba, but that could be INTERESTING.
