What really confuses me is the pricing it says normally its 249. I've been following this hoodie since the original one and when 2.0 came out I never seen the price at 249. It's kind of insulting really for this company to think we are nieve enough to believe their actually giving us 60 percent off. 249 for a hoodie that's made in China with cheap materials and can't even put the zipper on the right side even with all the complaints from hoodie number one smh. What they should do is spend more money on a better quality hoodie and less money on advertising.
yea its not a realistic price at all at $249 and is not worth that. pretty inflated tbh. the only way would be if it had gore tex with windstopper technology in it, but even that probably not. $90 is realistic and eve put that one sale. As for the zipper, this is the common side for the rest of the world, we’re the different ones
Normal price $249? As a former retailer, I had to adhere to an FTC requirement that if I ran an item "on sale", I had to be able to show proof of a certain percentage of sales at the regular price should I be audited randomly by a surprise FTC agent visit. The enforcement of this requirement almost never happens, so you never know if the stated "regular price" is legitimate. I was caught once and paid a large fine. Wonder how many of these Tactical hoodies have been sold at the "regular" price! I think of this every time I see a sale versus regular price quoted.
Bought 3 of these hoodies a month ago. Never received a shipping confirmation and never received a email back from their support either. This seems like a typical scam company since they do not even have a telephone number. Avoid this stupid company buy your hoodie elsewhere
I am in the same boat unfortunately as are many others. I was able to cancel through their chat service and get a refund but it had not shipped because the items I ordered were “out of stock”. Perhaps just bad customer service/processing because there was no indication of that when I ordered. It’s also strange because they work through multiple sites. Baerskin, truswat, mynuve? It’s all a little suspect, glad to put it behind me.
Oct 17 ordered......arrived yesterday, about a month. no disappointments, although larger than anticipated. think I will replace the zipper, but it has kept me quite warm as an inner jacket in AB Canada.
Their in China! They ran out over a month ago is what they told me. I bought 2 of them. Look at all the people they’ve done this to! Yet they CONTINUE TO SHOW THE ADDS and taking our money! I’ve been waiting over 6 weeks! I will never buy a China made item again! Look me up on telegram. We need to gather info and take it to who ever will get refunds and answers to us. They don’t speak English that’s why they don’t man the chat! But they don’t have a problem taking your MONEY
Definite thumbs up for the review. I will sort of warn anyone thinking of buying one with the expectation of getting it quickly, don't. I ordered (and payed for) mine two weeks ago and still don't have a shipping date or tracking number. That's not a deal breaker for me because I don't need one tomorrow, but if you're watching this video now and thinking of getting one as a Christmas present for someone, be aware that it probably won't make it in time.
Excellent review. Made in China is an issue. When I think “tactical” I’m thinking concealed carry so your suggestion for 3.0 is a very good one. If fact all your suggestions for 3.0 were spot on. Needs YKK zips. All the pockets are a big plus. Still the China factor and the lack of accommodation for concealed carry may be a show stopper. I’ll have to think more about this hoodie.
I just posted a buyer beware on this. I fell for it and ordered a couple for christmas...in october. The communication with them has been sketchy and I still don't have the jackets...so think about it more and decide NO. LOL You'll save yourself a big headache!
The 3.0 version should have polyester panels on the shoulders and elbows for wear resistance from backpack straps and crawling. Oh yea, and YKK zippers.
I was actually interested in the hoodie until I heard the commercials claim that you could wear one instead of layering. When did layering become a bad thing. You don't layer to just stay warm, you layer to not get to warm. I live in a very cold area and in the fall I start out with 1 fleece jacket. When it gets colder, I add a second one. Colder still, a flannel hoodie. Colder still, I start with a fleece pull over hoodie that I will put on in the morning and leave on all day. If the temperature or my activity changes, I can add or remove a layer. When they said you didn't need to layer, like it was a bad thing, I heard 'we don't know what we're talking about and this is all a bunch of hype over an over priced scam'
Me and a buddy bought these. He from West Virginia, me from Alabama. He ordered his in November, took a month. I ordered 3 and it took a month as well. They are from China. It’s comfortable and warm. Not crazy about the way the hood tightens down over eyes. Abundance of pockets. Buddy says it does keep him warm in the colder temps up there. I give it a B rating. 8/10

I have one and have been disappointed in the craftsmanship. The inner pockets all are unsewn so that you can pass your hand all the way through. All three inner pockets are this way. And, the main zipper pulls are on the opposite side of what is considered standard for a male jacket. Not a really big deal but when every other jacket I have has right hand zipper pulls, this just feels weird.
Yea mine in no way has poor craftsmanship, looks like you got a outlier. But yes the left zipper is odd for us Americans but is standard in Europe and much of the rest of the world. Thought about mentioning it in the vid

Just got mine, lovely and warm, i dont really like hoodies but this is so soft and when zipped up, doesnt pull on your throat like cheaper ones do. Well worth investing in one.

I’m close to buying one…I did buy the MagcoMsen version….which I really like, but I like the lower front pockets on the Baer. And I can always use another heavyweight fleece jacket! Your suggestions for a 3.0 is right on…pit zips are great. Also, go with YKK zippers, and some “reinforce elbow” patches….and maybe reinforce patches on shoulders for pack carry. I’d pay their $249 asking price for a 3.0. BTW….a personal thank you to YOU, for placing the shoulder “flag patch” with the “Union” (that’s the blue part with stars, folks) facing forward. It bothers hell out of me when people wear the “stars and stripes” wrong. Bravo-Zulu….Good review, amigo!

Two weeks ago, my Aussie and I were tracking “something” (she goes a bit nuts sometimes, when she is allowed to!”….and I had the time, New England weather permitted, I had my emergency pack on, so I said “what the hell, follow her”. And I did. And she had me doing a steep rock scramble up a slope where others before me had driven pitons into the rock (and yes, when I turned and looked down…it was already too late to go backwards)…meanwhile my dog bounded and bounced up rock ledges. (I don’t mind telling you, that night back home, I had more than a couple ounces of bourbon!). She was tracking a coyote….! The point is, the MagcoMsen held up through brambles, mountain Laurel thickets, over icy rocks…..and still looks good. And yes, it too, made in China. But frankly, I wish we’d team with the Chinese, against the Soviets (they’ll always be the effing Soviets, to me. I bought two at the same time. One came in 3 weeks. The other in 5. I like your review. You stated the jacket size, but including your height and weight would have helped. Cons: Zipper on the US female side (Although this is common in Europe for both sexes zippers to be on either side - however - this is not Europe. Other con - you can't put anything solid, like extra magazines, in the sleeve pockets and expect to bend your sleeves. Both the sleeve pockets and Velcro patches are WAY too low. I plan on sending mine back and going with Amazon for half the price.
Just received my Bearskin hoodie. It’s perfect EXCEPT I guarantee that the main front zipper and probably the pocket zippers will be the first to fail! They went all out on everything except the zippers! I would wait until they updated this before purchasing!

Update April 17th 2023 got my 2nd Baerskin Hoodie 2.0 in Black XL today and couldn't be happier. Ordered April 6th delivered April 17th 11 days it took to get here from China and hoodie does not say made in China on the inside arrived in excellent condition no complaints 👍. Pros and Cons = Pros = Hoodie is cool looking and warm and comfortable and lots of pockets. Cons = Would be the shipping process TRACKING WAS NOT AN ISSUE tracked it all the way to the house my only complaint is they should use USPS or FED X or UPS once the package has reached the United States 🇺🇸 instead of any old delivery company you really never heard of. Mine got shipped by Lasership/ OnTrac and alot of reviews for their delivery service sucked alot of 1 stars out of 5. But overall the worry is over I got my Hoodie will I order again YES very soon.

Great review. That’s a badass hoodie. I got a Nike Dri fit Therma and an old Macy’s brand Weatherproof Vintage hoodie that I wear underneath the Nike hoodie. I live on Long Island, and winters can get very brutal here. Those hoodie combos can withstand any weather conditions. If it gets below 10 degrees and it’s very windy on top of that. I’ll wear a cheap sweatshirt underneath both hoodies.
All I can say is don't deal with the company that makes Baerskin hoodie because the company is not reliable and terrible to work with. I ordered one for my husband more than 3 weeks ago, and have not seen anything yet. When I send anything to their email for customer service, all I get is the same generic emails that say nothing about where the hoodie is, or when it will arrive. Bad company!
Just make sure you order it a month before you need it. Their shipping is totally broken. Your order won't get processed for weeks, and it was more than 2 weeks from processing until it arrived.

Terrible communications with this company. Ordered 2, funds came out immediately, they said (and continue to say) delivery in 14 days. In that amount of time I got no tracking and no ETA for tracking. I sent questions to support, got the most polite word salad ever 3 times. No actual information. I’m patient when I can ask questions and get updates. That was not possible here. In that amount of time I got no less than 4 marketing emails a day the whole time. They need to spend more time shipping product and less time marketing. At least they refunded me. I was totally sold on the product, but they blew it. Spectacularly.
I was skeptical about the hoodie. I ordered my hoodie on December 4, 2022. I just received it on December 21st, 2022, and so far I like what I see. It's kinda cold in Kentucky right now, so I will see how it works in 34-degree weather.

I would suggest people avoid the Baerskin products and company completely. I ordered in early October 2022, after a month, they shipped my order and provided a tracking number. The tracking number stopped tracking on Nov 23 with the statement "flight arrived". There is no way to track after this. I've messaged the company and emailed them several times to follow up on my order, which is over $300 worth of product, and they send an auto message that delivery "takes time". There is NO phone number that I can find to actually call them and they will not "live Chat" like their website says. It doesn't work. You have to leave a message on their chat and they say they will respond via email. Sometimes they respond, sometimes they do not. This is not near a reliable way to do business. I've asked for a refund and I bet I'll never hear a work back. BUYER BEWARE!
Wish the hood had a small built-in clip at front rim to clip onto the rim of your hat. That would lock the the hood in place through wind and also help your visibility by moving the hood from side to side when you turn your head. Thumbs would be great too.. love thumb holes.

It seems to be an improvement from the original and your review was great. Only thing its missing are pit zippers. For this price that should be included.
Great video, the only issue I had with the presentation is with the description of the American flag. That flag is called " subdued " subdued flag that is black and Grey silver. American soldiers will draw to the hoodie, I believe, if it's described as subdued. However all in all, great presentation and will done by the host.

From the second I placed my order it was odd, no replies to my texts and emails, they changed my email address in the order, it got very weird after I placed the order. I’ve got 1 of the Amazon copies from China called ReFire, cost $40 and I think it’s great. The fleece is really dense and warm and it fits really well worn it for 2 winters now. When it was really cold I’d wear my thin Marmot wind stopper jacket under it and it was perfect.

I wouldn't buy from this company. After 3 weeks it's still in limbo and no one from this so call company will help. They said they shipped it but after 3 weeks it's not moving anywhere. Unable to get the business who is supposed to be shipping it from baerskin. I have ask for a refund which they declined. Next step is just report a fraud claim with my bank. Complete fraud if you ask me

Id say it would be an amazing layer provided u are wearing a good wool base layer. I felt comfortable to 30 degrees with only this and a shirt. If your getting a lot of wind maybe an additional shell would be good too
Ordered and paid October 6th it is now November 8th. How long g before you got yours? 2.0 and didn't change the zipper... planned obsolescence 3.0 will have a better zipper on the mens side not European or womens. Then 4.0 waterproof and breathes. I like how they got all these guys to hock their wares. How long did it take to get yours?
Spring! Ordered mine in the middle of the winter last year by the time it arrived it was damn near 80 degrees and its a cheap Chinese made POS. You’ll see if you ever get it.
Do not waste your money on this jacket/hoodie. It took 9 weeks to get mine and took me 9 seconds to realize I'm returning it. It's a cheap thin material. If you wear it in 50-degree weather with no wind it may keep you warm but anything less than that plan on getting cold. DO NOT PURCHASE!

Origin makes a 100% USA sourced (Texas cotton) and built fleece hoodie for way less. I’d like to see more guys reviewing products completely sourced and built in and by Americans, like Jocko’s Origin company. Support veteran owned businesses. Avoid giving your money to communism.
Right it’s just a thick fleece with extra materials in wind prone areas, and as such it’s not a do it all one jacket. Fleece breaths so it’s not going to repel rain nor completely block out wind so u will need a shell and good base layers if u plan to take this below freezing. But it’s good for what it is as a fleece

This hoodie normal price with no sale isn’t worth more than $50 on a good day. All you gotta do is proceed to your nearest Cabellas or Bass Pro and find something far superior for a tactical environment. This hoodie is made in China which had I known that in the beginning it would have been an instant pass for me and it took MONTHS to get here. I ordered it last November or December and it didn’t get here till April. The material is cheap Walmart quality fleece and pretty thin. Not to mention the damn zipper is on the wrong side. This is nothing special AT ALL and whoever was to pay $249 for this thing deserves the butt f-ing they are going to get. This is a typical RU-vid or Facebook scam. Stay the hell away!
I can't coment on my Baer Skin because it's still floating around out there in delivery land. My wife ordered it in the beginning of December and now it's 1/5/23. It took a while for tracking to start but finally it did. From somewhere in China to numerous other places. It's supposed to be waiting now for the USPS and that hasn't changed in several days. I hope it gets here before the next freeze or spring for that mater. I hear it has a womans zipper backwards from a mans zipper. Not crazy about that. But as of yet I have no hoodie and no zipper.
I was going to order it(even though made in China). I am 6'2 255 with a really long torso and really short legs(upper body is about 6'5-6'7). I don't see a tall option in 2XL or any other size...
Got my hoodie on time. It was well packaged. But i will return it. Unfortunately it's just another hoodie. Maybe a costco or gap sold hoodie has better tailoring. It definitely created a lot of excitement with the marketing campaign. But its not worth the $100 usd price ( after discount).
To whom it may concern. I'd like to report that my overall experience with this new company has been a complete mess. I placed an order, I realized that the address from PayPal was to an old residence. I quickly reached out to have to address change. Come to find out this company seems to be operating from someone's basement In Pennsylvania. Finding a number to call is almost impossible. I'm forced to use a chat system that doesn't seem to be monitored. I mean I tried to conduct a conversation 4 hours ago, I'm still waiting for a response. I no matter the quality of your product, if your customer service is crap, so is the company.

According to what little tracking information I've been given, it's still somewhere in China (how do they ship internationally with a 3-year covid lockdown in place?🤔). I live in the US New Hampshire I ordered mine and got it 14 days later with tracking and confirmation and true to size very happy ya 14 days and tracking once it got I to the states it was shipped by the post office nice.
I wanted to purchase this for my husband, so I decided (as I usually do) to do my research, BUT finding out it’s made in China. I really thought these were made in the USA, and it has no drawstring hood. I also, would’ve preferred the name be on the inside where the tag would be. So now I’m not sure about getting him a few of these especially after reading the comments.
I like the look of these except the peak cap in the hood. It looks ridiculous. If I wore that people would say mutton dressed as lamb get rid of the peak cap and I'd buy one....

IMO a piece of typical fleece outerwear with numerous pockets, many you need two hands to open and some you can’t even reach.

My wife got me a Baerskin Hoodie 2.0 in Grey XL and they are true to size. I thought it would run small because it's European, but nope, it's just the way I like it fits perfectly. I got my hoodie in exactly 14 days, no problems. Got shipped by Yunexpress to the USA 🇺🇸 then the last of the trip usps with tracking. Tracking was not and issue tracked it both times. Oh and I bought another one and that also just got shipped Black in XL. I only order one at a time not because of money but because of shipping and waiting but so far no problems.

So I ordered mine on December 3rd and still don't have it. I reached out to them and they said it's lost in transit. They offered me 15% off my next perchance. I'm not coming back. Then they said if it's in stock.
