I'm looking at this razor thinking "wow, that looks a LOT like my Rockwell Rookie R1..." Google then proceeds to tell me it is, just rebranded.

Planning to get it as my first safety razor, is it good? Does it rust?

It’s too mild for me. So far I haven't had a problem with rust. WIth that said, I'm pretty strict about cleaning up after almost anything I do. After a shave, for example, I wipe down everything and let my razors air dry for a few hours before putting the blade back in and putting it in it's stand. Will it rust? I don't think it will with the way I do things. If it does it'll be a while.

If shipping wasn’t so expensive I’d send you this one for free if you covered the shipping. I’ve only used it once. But, shipping this from Japan would cost more than if you bought 3 of them off Ali Express.
