That looks amazing! I worked at t bell when I was in college, I ate 2 of those every shift… it was magical watching you eat that thing. Hopefully mine turn out too
I can't believe you only got a single response from this video. That looked great and it makes me hungry watching the video and wanting to make some. I've tried making the shell myself and got close in taste but the filling never did. I was surprised how you smoked the entire ground beef without crumbling it first. I love Chalupas but whenever I go to Taco Bell they are always cold and chewy. Good job man.
Hahaha thanks dude I appreciate it. I was hoping to be able to use taco shell fixtures to fry the shells in but it didn’t really work so one at a time with tongs did the trick. I only smoked the beef for an hour then pan cooked to finish
I found your video because i recently found that sauce in food lion and i couldn't remember what was on the chalupa till i did some research but now i know. Thanks for the video. I will be making them soon. Yours came out perfect i thought 💯
@@Tubolicious82 I've asked for it off menu, once they did great, nailed it just like the good old days, another time they straight gave me an uncooked flatbread like wtf it's still a chalupa, you stoned idiots it's a fried shell how hard is that.... I know you're stoned but damn, I could run the entire show there lit.. get with the program..
They did!!! They had 3 different flavors when I worked there…back in the 90s…lol they had the Supreme, the Baja and the Santa Fe. The Santa Fe had the corn salsa on it
