I have AS200 and have ridden now for almost 150kms. What it got the best interest to me was its smoother engine than NS200 and less vibration even on higer RPM. Average seems to me pretty decent and the best part is the riding comfort. I really travel long in my daily commuting so the wider wheelbase, Liquid Cooling system, Projector headlamps really adds up confidence in me towards the machine. Do not get confuse in comparing it with Duke200, or GixxerSF etc. Its all about your feet shape which shoe you fit in the best and grab the one happily.
Excellent review. Glad you guys made one. But i am confused between few bikes . I am a college student and I am planning to buy a new bike . Please help to choose one . My considerations are : 1. Pulsar 150 AS 2. Gixxer 155 3. Apache 200 RTR And also no one had done a review between Pulsar 150 AS and Gixxer 155 . There's too lot of review between Gixxer SF and Pulsar AS not a good one with Pulsar VS Gixxer 155 . Please make one and waiting for review on Apache RTR 200 4V
There is no better performer for 200ns/As other than duke 200/rc200. If you are strictly on budget, get 200ns....otherwise duke is the best of two. As 200 is like touring, it's look may not please the eyes like ns... Whatever, make sure you get mrf tires
Hi, I am confused between The AS 150 and suzuki gixxer. Like the performance of gixxer , but the looks of pulsar attracts me. suggest me which one to go for. My daily run is approx 10 kms and might go on tours on weekends.
buy as200, good for touring and also ok for local commuting. gixxer/p150as is not as powerful, after riding AS, you will not like lower ccs. but if you are concerned about mileage, comfort stay with suzuki gixxer. try gixxer sf if u feel fairing attracts u
My friend owns a NS.. I'm pretty much used to riding it.. I was gonna buy one too but then they released AS.. I just wanted to know from your experience , does the fairing vibrate? I'm only afraid if at high rpm, the vibrations are transferred to the fairings?? Cuz they're discontinuing NS in a while, I want to quickly decide between the two.. Thanks
Shaun Aashish Hey. I got my 200AS last Friday. I've got the tyres changed to MRF nylo zapper fx.. Absolutely loving it too.. Only problem I've got is that it goes to neutral when shifting between 1 n 2 many times.. They told me it's normal till the first service. The heating does happen in city.. Used to happen with NS too... N here's a high five, we own the same bike :D
Umesh Umarani congratulations mate. I've got to mention, that its money well spent. Yes, I have that issue and they said it'd be fixed during the first service. Just got myself the anti puncture liquid coating too. :P Happy commuting, ride safe. :D And heres a high five back, just so I don't leave you hanging, haha. ;)
sujai padmaraj Duke rear tyre dimension 150/60R 17, front tyre 110/70R 17. For Pulsar Ns and As (Front) 100 /80 - 17 (Rear) 130/70 - 17. Front tyre of Duke might just fit I'm not that sure.. Rear one should fit as both are 17 inches and there's no headache of adjusting the forks like in the front one.
Guys I have a question, does duke 200 tyres match up with as 200 tyres?? Or is there any other grippy tyres with same dimensions as as 200?? Please reply.. Because all my worries are about eurogrip tyres...
Ravi Bokade 200NS is a street fighter category. This is somethine like say adventure\touring?.. What i mean to say is both are way too different to compare...
i would love to buy 150as but as a typical indian i would like to know the fuel efficiency of the 150as As it is high on power so it might affect the fuel economy. overall a good review so whats the mileage?
sandeep gaur Try the new yamaha FZ version2.0. A friend of mine has it which give >50Kmpl. But you wont get the aggressiveness or performance like this pulsar
This will be my first bike and I need advice, as i am not able to choose a damn bike! I am not the type who needs a sports bike only or a cruiser, as long as it looks good, i am ok. I need a bike for regular 30 km tour to college. Mileage isn't a problem as long as get 40+. But i need a comfortable ride for pillion rider as well. Avenger fits the bill but it still has narrow pillion seat and i have seen people complaining about that and more! Damn! ;( Also the fact that Avenger has Spokes meaning no tubeless tire, i don't want to drag that kind of beast. Which one has more comfortable pillion ride, Pulsar 200as/ns or Avenger? Also do you suggest waiting for Avenger 200? Its highly unlikely that they would go with Alloy Wheels and broader pillion Suggest a bike! PS. Gixxer Sf is not a option for me. :(
My Pulsar AS 200 after 1st service.... when i release the throttle and and accelerate around 3k - 4k RPM there is a vibration but seizes if i go above 5k RPM the vibrations stops ......can u suggest me how to stopped it?
Bajaj is now giving zappers on 200 ns but eurogrips on the 200 as ? I had an emergency change of tyres on my 200 NS after just 12 k kms after 3 near miss accidents in a single 30 km trip. The eurogrips are THAT bad ! too bad Bajaj is compromising where it shouldnt
rohit r NS200 is currently out of production and soon bajaj will release NS150 and NS190 as a replacement for NS200................SAD THING BY BAJAJ .
This bike is just a waste of money dont even thnk of buying as 200 it hav got a engine clutch problem. U can go for duke n other. This bike is a piece of shit. N a headache .
Disappointed!!!,,,Ugly design ..seems Bajaj saved lots of money on design... Bajaj used spare part of NS 200 it seems ..even present 150 pulsr is more attractive...Yamaha FZ is far far better with many attractive colors.. .... wake up call for bajaj !!!!
