omayma kr ... ok wait who even Grills Crab though.. that's the weirdest thing I've ever heard.. it probably wasn't cooked all the way through and that's why it tasted bad, how long did you cook it for?
I think they called for kosher salt. That is half as dense as regular table salt, so you should use half the amount of table salt in a lot of recipes, or just use kosher salt. Kosher salt is much more coarse, and makes it easier to season things, as there is a larger margin for error when seasoning.
Lol scampi is by definition a butter and garlic sauce (with some acidity from lemon or white wine), so it definitely wasn't a misprint. Definitely too much salt, though. Try it sauteed and it will be even better. Also: "par-puh-dell"
The USA is much larger than most countries, with large populations living throughout the whole of the landmass (versus someplace like Australia, which has comparatively more land, but most of the population is concentrated in a few small areas). Canned food doesn’t require refrigeration for shipping, and since most states are landlocked, canned crab is easier to get and more economical than fresh or frozen when you live 1000+ miles from the nearest coast.
I've been subscribed to your channel for over a year now and I loved how you used Gordon Ramsay's recipe, you should use more of his recipes in your future videos as well!☺️
No, they're different things. Cilantro is the leaf of the coriander plant, and is often called "Chinese parsley," but they come from different plants. They look really similar, though.
Gordon Ramsay's 'fast food' section in the F word is trying to create a new meaning for fast food rather than it being known to be unhealthy. He goes around to to peoples houses and cooks with them a very simple but healthy dish. I do not know for sure, but I think the people who goes to and cooks with are heavy fast food eaters.
Bruh, you guys in the comments need to CHILL. My bf is a professional chef and tinned crab, and frozen shrimp are completely fine to use. Unless you’re cooking at a restaurant level, you should get what works best for you. Good cooking skills will more than compensate for any drop in quality of ingredients. When my bf cooks at home for us we use frozen shrimp every time, thaw them and shell them and it turns out great every time. They keep way longer too
I literally was just think I wonder when davids going to upload a new video and I went to your channel, did not see a new video, then I refreshed the page and it appeared! hahaha i sensed it was coming love your videos
The reason why the pasta was dry was because you cooked it first. If you had cooked the sauce and had it ready and then put the pasta in fresh from the pot, the dish would have been much better
Great call not adding the salt. first video I have seen of yours. I subscribed! Great work, great video! I'm going to check out some others. It's a lot better than most I see on YT because you explain things you're doing according to the directions far more accurately than most people with food channels. I cooked for 18 years various places before burning out. I sell cars now, but still, love to cook at home, so I appreciate videos like this one!
XMasterSteel Lol I remember how happy I was to be In Rosanna P.'s video for making an animal crossing cake a while ago. It's awesome to be in a you-tubers video even if it's just your username.
David, for your second pasta, try adding a little of the water you used to boil your pasta to the sauce pan and stir it to "emulsify" the olive oil with the water and create a light sauce. The pasta water has the starch that comes off the pasta while boiling, so it will lightly thicken the sauce too, therefore your sauce won't be just a watered-down version of the original. Or, I suppose, you can use the crab juice from the can (I have never eaten crab out of a can, so I don't know it that would taste good, though).
Ha, I was in the video, try Gordon Ramsay's chilly beef lettuce wraps, although I don't know of a tasty recipe that will rival this one, if anyone who looking at this comment know one, reply that :)
I liked this type of vs video :) adding in Gordon Ramsey's recooked rather than another tasty recipe was a nice change. Either way I'll still watch your videos haha
Looks like you used table salt. That's too fine of a grain, and you effectively will get too much (can easily double the amount of salt!) if you use table salt for a recipe if it calls for kosher salt or sea salt. Types of salt are important! Weighing instead of measuring can also help prevent such issues : )
I can hear Ramsey shouting "USE THE F****G MEASURINGTOOLS!" :D of course you will get food that is a bit funny if you don't use measuringtools when making a food for the first time (and you are not tasting it whilst it is cooking)
I really like the Ramsay vs recipes...I think you should try Ramsay's Beef Wellington vs some similar type Beef Tasty or Buzzfeed dish...I'm really enjoying this new Ramsay series David 👍
everyone is like “oh go to a salon”. salons are reasonably expensive, some are cheap and some are expensive. point is would you rather him wasting his money on getting his hair professionally dyed as a JOKE. or would you rather him to spend his money on create more great videos for us?
I think in the tasty video they were using course ground salt which has larger crystals and less salty than table salt. I think most people use course ground salt for cooking.
