David I thought you had passed away. I was looking up the time of the funeral just as this video was released. I am currently wearing all black because I was already dressed for your funeral. To my amaze, you have risen from the dead like the Lord himself. You are a miracle, David, because you had ceased to live but you managed to rise from the ground to continue cooking. David "The Miracle" Seymour, may you live immortally for thousands of years.
How you hold your chopsticks are about right and this is coming from a true Asian. The only thing that bothered me was that you were using wooden disposable ones, seeing as you eat a lot of ramen you should just get a pair of washable chopsticks. Just my opinion 😊
You don't know why we're watching this video instead of eating dinner with our families? Because you posted this at 11:30PM. Thanksgiving is over. It's Christmas month now.
we, well l, understand that you needed a break for personal reasons. RU-vid is important but you can't do it without feeling at least a little good. Take breaks if needed!!!!
Omigosh I'm so happy he mentioned Hannukah cause that is the first thing I think when I hear potato pancakes! Maybe I'll make these for Hannukah this year...with fake turkey.
That’s pretty damn genius. I loooove Turkey...pero, ribs? You can never go wrong with ribs. Just lemme know what time to come over this November, thanks! 😉
For the potatoes, you can actually get a similar effect if you leave out the flour/egg/oil, and once the pan heats up you just turn the heat down to medium/low (on a gas stove, it is when the flames no longer try to project out from the burner, just kind of lick the edges) and cook ~20 minutes on a side (maybe 30 given how soft those spuds looked). Gets a nice crispy outside, and you don't use up large portions of oil. Same process gets you beautiful hash browns as well.
I have horrible tonsilitis and I'm dying drinking warm milk because it's the only relief I can get before bed but I hope you're having a good thanksgiving David ❤️🦃
To me, ramen is about the toppings, so I'd probably cook everything separate, and overload on extra veg, some soft boiled egg, and prolly some fishcake. It looks bomb tho 👌
So happy you had a video. I really did think something bad happened to you. ☺️ then you liked my tweet I tweeted to you and was like omg he's alive! ❤️
The mashed potato pancakes are actually called PARANTHAS in India. It’s a daily breakfast lunch n dinner usually in our country.. especially in the north!
Ramen enthusiasts here too~ Wonder if you have ever tried Indomie Goreng... Heard Amerucan eat it without the chilli because it's too spicy apparently...
Tried the potato pancakes and for the life of me couldn't flip them without them falling apart, so I rolled them into tater tot shapes and they tasted pretty good with ketchup!
Oooooh, I wanna try that ramen. I've always done that with mashed potatoes tho. We just called them tater cakes. They really are delicious, and so easy.
It's always interesting to see Americans going bananas over everything Thanksgiving related becase here in Slovenia we don't celebrate it some of ous have never heard of it
