Thanks. I had to listen twice and learn not to let tag and main line go to maintain length.

Great video, as always. Curious, where did you get your vise and what type of devise did you have your line spool on. Btw, the total length of the C&C rig is 42 inches which allows the bottom hook to attach to the bottom eye and top hook to stretch to the third eye on BnM 16 foot trolling rods and the ACC 16 footer, which is helpful when traveling down the road or lake.

Thanks for the video..maybe using a noodle to store the rigs on wood work. Figuring out a way to stabilize the swivel is is the kicker

I have tried the noodle option and don’t like it. The noodle collapses and the hooks and lines loosen and tangle. I have another option which I will show you in a future video.

I like all your videos and this is a goo one. Do you have the rigs on your rods when you start fishing? If you do, how do you keep the upper hook from tangling with the upper hooks and lines of other rods while traveling?

Mike I enjoy your videos. I have learned a lot. I need to put it in to action more. What type of fishing line do you use for trolling with crank baits, dock shooting, and spider rigging? I would like to know the lb. and clear etc. I got some of it from your videos but wanted to make sure. Also what type of rod holders are you using for spider rigging. I couldn't find any with the name you gave. I'm not spelling it correctly or something. Thanks!

8lb high vis like Mr Crappie or Crappie Max if flatlining crankbaits. 10 lb. Trilene XT green if using planer boards. 6 lb high vis if dock shooting on Lake of the Ozarks. 10 lb. high vis on main line when spider rigging with 8 lb. clear mono on my pre-tied rigs.

Also, my rod holders are Perotti. Not sure where to get them now. Grizzly Jig used to carry them.

How do you attach the swivel to the line?
@MikeBakerVideos
@MikeBakerVideos 4 года назад
If you are referring to the main line going to the reel, I use a snap swivel or tie direct with a trilene knot.

How heavy of sinkers do you use on your double hook rigs ? One pole , one jig rigs
@MikeBakerVideos
@MikeBakerVideos 3 года назад
Depending on the conditions I am fishing, I use anywhere from 1/4 oz. to 2 oz. on my double hook spider rigs.
