@@HitmanVennyHIT You are absolutely right but taking him number one overall had to be a league decision, and the owner went along with it, because after Johnny Manzel there's no way that the Browns would have taken an undersized nonathletic guy like Baker Mayfield, he should have been a third-round pick, but unfortunately the league is using the quarterback position as an affirmative action position to keep these white faces in the league. It is no accident that Lamar Jackson went to Baltimore the last pick of the first round the best player of the draft. Unfortunately, all professional sports leagues are doing it from the NBA going over to Russia to find people to play, MLB baseball not having any American black men play, so everybody needs to be on the lookout.

Baker doesn’t play defense... That “elite browns defense” that I hear all the time allowed the chiefs to score more points and allowed the backup to make a drive that ended it... Baker was on the sidelines when they could have had the game won... Baker did his job and put more points on the board to beat the other team... Defense wins championships....

@@johnnydiabetes6563 I'm not sold on the Bengals...last year was a crazy year...Bengals stayed mostly healthy, no covid outbreaks, top 3 easiest schedule...playoffs they weren't that impressive. This season a much tougher schedule, not likely covid taking out 20+ players like last year....Browns are more talented in more positions, I think...Bengals are getting alot of media hype...they better not disappoint, or prepare for a media bashing

You could say Sam darnold is not as prolific due to being thrown into carrying his team as a rookie. When other qbs like mahomes sat for 2 or 3 seasons. And now you want a decent college qb to be thrown into the fire his first season. He needs to develop. That's the best thing for him. And he's in a situation where he can do that.
