Another great video. But I was wondering, why some recipes call for using both? Is it only for maximazing the leavening process or is there any other reason? Thanks

I would like to know why the baking soda is always in a " tin " container and the baking powder is always in a paper box ?

oor if you need baking powder and have none but have baking soda and cream of tarter; mix 1 part baking soda with 2 parts cream of tarter

Why my dough is not rising with Baking Powder. Over the years I have tried using Baking powder but it failed to rise the dough. So I have been using yeast which gives me an excellent dough. I am trying Baking Powder again now as Yeast very difficult to get due to Covid-19 shortages.

What if the recipe calls for both? 1.5 tsp of baking powder and 1 tsp of baking soda to be more specific. Do i add 4.5 tsp of baking powder?

which ingredient makes cookies chewy ? baking soda or baking powder? if you want it to rise more? which do you add?

Thank you!!! This info saved my cornbread! I didn’t have baking powder and had already mixed most of the ingredients so there was no turning back. After watching this video. I added 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 cup butter milk to the other liquids and a tsp white vinegar and it came out perfect!!! Who knew???
