Balance, core strength and foot mobility are the focus of this safe session designed for those of us with osteoporosis or osteopenia. Inspired by The Strong Bones Challenge facebook group member Dominique, who shared an essential balance exercise we should all be practicing All. The.Time!
Leave a message in the comments below if you are a member of the group and let us know how the balance challenge is going for you! And if you're not a member, please join! Practice this sequence near a wall for balance support, and have a chair or bench. Note: the twisting warm up (swinging arms) should be done slowly if you are new to this, turning you head side to side gently or not at all.

Tried this today due the first time. I found the instructor easy to follow. She spoke clearly. Slow enough to listen and understand, and she explained unfamiliar terms and poses. Thank you!

Excellent practice. Thank you Susannah. Funny thing is I loved the last little sequence with arms overhead then a twist. I backed up the video to do it a few more times.
