Stopped by the nursery to pick up a ficus tree and found a Bald Cypress for sale. It has some rot issues but bald cypress is a resilient species and since I'm in zone 10 I hope to keep it alive. Cleaned up some of the rotting wood and I am hoping so strong growth all summer. If I had power tools I would have gotten more aggressive with it. I learned a lot working on it and hope to use this information to help me with my younger trees.
