Heartbreaking, 😪 But, thank you for making him as comfortable as you could, during this one's last days 😔. Please, everyone, spread the word. Many don't realize we still have this problem, infecting these amazing God-given creations! We can all make a difference, this Spring has these beautiful eagles attempting to provide for their young and bring food for their mates... but then they can become too weak to return to them. Ultimately, the whole family is impacted, and things can become dire if the mother has to leave the nest early to seek food. 🦅🦅 God bless our Rescuers🤲 and Our National Treasures 🦅🪺🪹 🇺🇲🗽

Beautiful bird. I live in Florida and I saw my first wild bald eagle here. I had no idea they lived this far south as well as up north. I live in a bird sanctuary for the most part. We have so many large and small birds from hummingbirds and cardinals to as large as the great blue heron, storks, egrets, and sandhill cranes among so many other birds like the anhinga (when I saw him swimming for the first time and stuck his head out I the water I thought it was a snake) and comorants. Between that and the rocket launches nearby is why I like living here!

@@feurigerStern Hi feuriger Stern! Lead is a "silent killer" to eagles. It accumulates in them and, unfortunately, about 50% of adult bald and golden eagles have lead in their system. There is no safe around of lead. As the levels increase, they experience all sorts of disabilities until the toxicity takes their lives. Included are neurological problems, respiratory distress, muscle weakness, blindness, kidney and liver damage, coordination issues, inability to stand or walk, etc. One bullet has enough lead in it to poison 10 eagles. When the bullet enters a deer and it fragments, the deer may not die. It runs away and eventually when it does die, eagles, being scavengers, feed on the carcass and that's how lead enters their bodies. The best thing for humans to do is to NOT use lead bullets and lead fishing tackle. Spreading the word about this is vitally important. Be blessed! 🙏 🦅😻

@@Telestations I am a BSN RN and just curious if the source of the lead is known. Could it be the fish in their diet? Water? Scary thoughts. I appreciate all your dedication and efforts. You make a difference. The Eagles are so majestic. I have pet birds I have rescued. God bless you!

People don’t realize how big eagles are and how dangerous the talons are. They will crush your hand like a grape. Right through the hand literally as they worry about the biting and the beak. What a beautiful bird.

Hi Greg! Mark tried, but, unfortunately, the eagle had lead poisoning and it lost its life. 😿 Between lead, rat poison and fishing lines and hooks, humans are making their existence much more challenging than it ought to be! It's very sad. Hope you are doing well! TC and be blessed! 🙏😺🦅

Raptors are a critical part of our ecosystem. Don't forget that crows and ravens are raptors too. Bald eagles are beautiful and represent the majesty of the United States, But all raptors have a part to play. They are also very intelligent.

Greetings, a sad video to watch knowing the majestic eagle didn't survive.Since all raptors are protected by Federal law,and it's illegal for anyone to possess even a feather much less the carcus of an eagle without special permit, I imagine the remains were sent to the u.s. wildlife department ( I think then they are released to various native American organizations). As one into ornithology for a long time, all birds give me delight in seeing as well as hearing them. Just thought I would shed some light on a previous comment about crows. Crows actually are not raptors, crows by definition are any of various large, usually entirely black oscine birds. The American species scientific name is c.brachyrhynchos. Much of their diet is grains. Crows typify a family ( corvidae) which also includes the choughs, Jays, and magpies ( lots of blue Jays around here gobbling up black oil sunflower seeds people put out for them, their favorite food. Cool bird!). A raptor is a group of carnivorous birds consisting of the Hawks, eagles, vultures and owls. These birds have feet modified with sharp curved claws( talons) for seizing prey. They are strictly carnivores ( I e. A flesh eating animal). Kudos to Mindy Lee s comment about getting rid of lead in the environment, she's 100 percent right! Also huge thank you to all animal and wildlife rescue personal who take the time to help all wildlife. Lots of caring comments here also, great to see. Cheers!!!!
