The way Astarion tires himself out, looks to the rest of the party, and then gets a second wind from making eye-contact with them is making me lose it 😭😭

"and I think his blood was...acid? i'm not sure how that even works, like, anatomically" is so funny with the context of vampires literally having acidic blood in D&D lore

What I didn't expect was that the frog was in fact a real enemy you could fight in the game.

"Among githyanki I am considered humorous" had me dying for some reason

The level up sends me into a fit of laughter every time

this should be a full length series

I can really feel this video: When I was playing, I saw a frog once at the swamp near the Teahouse. After some *croaks* and *ribbits*, the little frog started to fight my party. I laughed so hard at first, but that smile quickly turned into a horror expression... We all died horribly in TWO rounds. This is the only fight in the whole game I never tried again as I was scared with such power of destruction. Maybe bad luck rolls, but god, this little boy was terrifying.

I'm sure Bortus approves of Lae'zel's sense of humor.

Ah, so this is what happened while I took Karlach, Jaheira, and Minsc to the Thieves Guild.

I didnt see the frog till after dealing with the hag so all it did was tell me it was happy then lead me to some treasure.

Not sure if they nerfed the frog, but it merely took me 2 turns to kill it. Saying I was disappointed is an understatement 😅

First watched this before encountering the frog and thought it was hilarious. Encountered the frog before taking the hag down.... I feel Astarion's pain and he is a MOOD! That frog was not to be meddled with and I had to reload from a previous save and avoid the frog. I will go back and talk to it after I take down the hag.

as someone who played a druid for the sole reason that I wanted to communicate with animals, I wasnt even aware the frog was dangerous lmao had a polite conversation with it, killed the hag to set it free, it showed me treasure as a thanks. And then my friend texted me demanding why I told her to speak to the damned frog who killed her entire party lol

*Cackling here.* And no. I *didn't* let the frog continue getting riled up. It was starting to look a little dangerous... and I just didn't want to fight yet *another* monster in the swamp, so I soothed the poor amphibian. And if I had failed the roll and *had* to fight the stupid thing, I would have just reloaded the previous save and left the frog alone to continue exploring.

I got lucky, I guess. I thwacked it once and got a crit, instantly killing it. I didn't realize it was supposed to be a challenging encounter.

I was playing with my party of 4 friends, we had already killed the threats we knew. The sheep, the trees, the rogue had removed the traps. It was safe and we were collecting treasures and looking at curiosities all around the area. Meanwhile the magician tells us that he is going to talk to a frog. We didn't pay attention to it, it didn't seem like something interesting. Suddenly, the magician yells at us begging for help. We could not believe it.

I want this show.

Trust me the higher ground one doesn’t work as well as you hope 😂 trust me my cleric was on same ground with it while everyone else was up on a cliff/log. The frog’s poison is AOE and will hit everyone for what seemed like 10-14 damage each time. Do not cluster your buddies together :D

How that frog die in here is exactly how I killed him in my second playthrough, I thought let Astarion melee him alone just in case Astarion gone mad & attack the others but the frog died before I use the others, very nice Larian, I loooove it
