Baldur's Gate 3 - The Spider of Lolth (Deity Build) 

Really cool build, glad you liked the idea.

I would just want to grab one level of Cleric of Lolth for the dialog options.

I'm glad there's a content creator who goes for flavor over minmaxing. Liked and subscribed.

I think it would be good for the other chosen of the deity builds to have at least 1 level of cleric so that you get the unique dialogue for that deity.

As someone who loves Drows this 1 and the Elistraee guides have been amazing!

I'm currently playing a Wood Elf Beast master character with a 1 level dip in Nature Cleric of Mielikki and it's absolutely amazing. Speak with Animals + Animal Friendship + Druid cantrip + Heavy Armour AND an extra skill proficiency AND Cleric cantrips + lvl 1 spells make it such a strong (both mechanical AND thematic) dip for a Beast master. For my wood elf I took Thorn Whip for situational fun + to use with Spike Growth but taking Poison Spray would be perfect for a Lolth-sworn Beast master like this. This is a dip to make at the start of the game obviously (I started Ranger, lvl 2 take Nature Cleric, then Ranger the rest of the way) so I won't get bestial fury till lvl 12 (currently lvl 5) but I'm honestly not bothered. The animal companions are so strong and so versatile I'm fine with waiting till act 3 for their final upgrade. Love this take on it for a Lolth-sworn Drow though.

It's criminal that these build videos haven't blown up yet. Must be cause you didn't put "GET OP EARLY" in the title, haha. These may not be the most powerful or min-maxed builds but they have so much more quality when it comes to the roleplay aspect, and its not likd you need to min max to have fun with the game, just about every build is viable. I can tell you put alot of thought into making sure these builds are consistent with the chosen theme, and styled them accordingly. Props to you, good sir; for you have gained a new subscriber this day!

This is great! While you HAVE done the Draconic Warrior, and that could technically fit for both Bahamut and Tiamat, I can't wait to see what you do for Tiamat specifically! My own personal cleric of Tiamat was a Dragon Sorcerer Cleric of War!

I just started a similar playthrough for fun. Main is drow beastmaster ranger. I have decided the entire party will be spider themed, which in early game (through lvl3) is much better than I expected. My main has two spider pets (one from find familiar), Laezel is an illusion wizard for the web spell and spider familiar, Wyll has a spider familiar from his Warlock of the chain, and lastly I changed Shadowheart into a moon druid and now she exists as a spider 100% of the time, which is hilarious to me. So much web everywhere! Also got those boots in spider layer that let me walk on web. Tons of fun so far!

I like the build, but I may experiment around with multiclassing into Druid as well. Summon a spider companion, then shapechange into one!

Cool build! I did a build like this for my Minthara during my ladt run. I paired it with the poison build using Kahga's amulet and i went dual weilding to wield Cruel Sting and Phalar Aluve, since it is also mentioned to be a drow weapon. Really fun build, but the spider loved to get stuck on everything when running around the map

Yeah, going druid and beast master is an awesome concept, but both classes don't like multiclassing, so it doesn't quite turn out.

I started a half-drow male cleric of Lolth, but most of my levels are going to be toward Spore Druid. Become the spider! And having mushroom zombies is something he could pick up from the underdark. I think i need to restart though. If you ever feel like trying out one of those builds, would love to see it!

U can also take couple of levels of druid until u ll open beast form and transform into spider too ^^ just remember - they are no official druids among Lolth sworn drow, so use only spider form of all the avaliable spells for lore accuracy

I love scary summon builds! I suggest 1 lvl in wizard, it would open this to so many possibilities. For instance you could learn enlarge and haste and cast them on your spider and have him huge size(with potion of the colossus) and a third attack.

You could take 1 level of wizard gif for access to learning scrolls so you can cast buffs like enlarge and haste on your companion!

Immediately tryna make a build like this after seeing mukticlassing/druid forms/themed spells\\armor. Mine will be a good aligned equivalent taming and becoming spiders as well as using their abilities.

Sharpened snare cuirass does what bounty hunter does on all restraining spells. Take keeper of the veil for protection from good/evil and arcana proficiency. Go hag eyed over volo.

If i may suggest for something niche if you make a sort of cowboy crossbow build, can you try to use the Punch Drunk club and the associated amulet to be a sort of drunk cowboy? Just fits in my opinion.

I have been wanting to ask you to do an Ice build using double staves ever since i saw your pyro build (legendary staff plus act 1 ice staff and CC gear focus)😅just an idea - bahamut was an ice dragon, so maybe that could be a direction?? I'd multiclass 1 level into Monk right after you get the lonsword so it scales on dex instead of strength. That way you can go with a full dex build. Also, in order to get the bow you've chosen you'd have to make story choices that really don't fit with Lolth's chosen

That last beast master upgrade at level eleven is rough, really limits multiclassing if you want the full potential of the animal companion, and it also comes waay to late.

Another option for the 12th level is to start Storm Sorcerer at level one so you can fly for free.

I think a build built around carrying the surser bloom (the flower that negates magic, fairly certain I misspelled that) could be cool. I think you're forced to carry it in a pouch outside the underdark, and your companions spells may suffer. So maybe lobewolf build? Pure physical attack. Curious what you could do with that!

maybe 1 lvl at cleric of lolth for some dialog options, and lvl 2 druid for spider shapeshift. I would do 5 lvl ranger 6 lvl druid 1 lvl cleric if im the main dd or 11 ranger 1 cleric for summon buid.

3:50 Just use the elixir of hill giant's strength- it lasts until long rest, you can buy 3 per long rest and/or level up from Auntie Ethel (before she moved out of the grove but she only goes out once you talk to her about the tadpole) and it sets your strength to 21- this way you can go down to 8 on strength, go 16 dex 14 con 17 wisdom (so that you can bump it up to 18 with Auntie Ethel's hair) and you can use both str and dex weapons much better than with this stat distribution, and you get more AC, initiative and better spell-casting- this way going ASI on wisdom as your first feat, will get you to 20 wisdom by lvl 4, instead of 18.

I would take 1 level in wizard for the spell scribing. Using web wouldnt even be that bad with the chestpiece you chose, especially if you used it with the headband of intellect

For those like us who wish they could MC as a Beast-Master there IS a mod out that scales your companion based on your level and PB once you’ve chosen the subclass. Happy hunting!

Multiclass into level two moon druid to multiclass from beast master ramger

I am doing this but after level 8 going with Circle of The Land for the natural recovery, some more cc spells, and a poison spell. I thought about doing one of the druids that focuses more on shape shifting, but then you can't cast spells and fuck that.

I would like to see a cleric of Oghma maybe Knowledge domain do to him being a god of knowledge

The stand still invisible spell warlock gets is different from the ranger one. The warlock one requires you not to be in full light, and doesnt give you 10 stealth. Not saying that makes it way worse or anything, but at least there is technically a difference

You should make a build that’s the ultimate support pacifist build it can summon And a build to go with it that’s soul goals to protect that build

I think if you wanted to concentrate on a str ranger, the titan string bow would work really well, can get a lot of useout of both bow and sword and the spiders jumping ability is based on strength. I'm definitely going to try this build as built here, and i agree, i thi k it would be an awesome dark urge build.

I wouldn't call incentive to stay monoclassed and staying in your subclassef forva whole game a "weakness". Im of the opinion that if you need to multiclass then you haven't truly explored a class/subclass to know know how to squeeze it for everything its worth.
