Kanami's solo is always special, may not too short, but not too long, sometimes calm, but sometimes crazy as hell, can be melodic but hardcore at the same time, you just want more every time you listen to her => Short but incredible
Great comments--I think we all want at least 4 more bars of a solo. This particular song I just really love because of there being two solos, that really short smoking, incendiary one out of the riff, then the absolutely gorgeous one after Saiki sings. That one is an example of her genius lead playing, holding those bends, building it then playing those nimble, melodic runs up into the pretty ending phrase. And to end the song right there...that is breathtaking! It's one of Band Maid's masterpieces in my book.
The solo at the end gets me on the feels everytime. The way they placed both of Kanami's solos is just ingenius with the first one instantly hitting the peak and ending abruptly like a sudden burst of overwhelming emotions, And then the final one comes in naturally with saiki's vocals leading into it as it gradually finishes on a slight high like the aftermath of some tumultuous events/relationships leaving you with bittersweet lingering feelings as the moment to move on from it eventually draws in... Well, atleast that how I interpret it Her guitar playing always makes me emotional for some reason
Awkward and Day Dreaming have both really grown on me over time. They are both first rate compositions. World class and now they are represented by Live Nation. This is a huge development and bodes well for conquering North America and the rest of the world outside of Japan. Our ladies are poised to do what his Majesty Emperor Hirohito and the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy could not do back in the 30's and 40's and that is World Domination.

Sure hope this band can get the exposure they need on American TV and an upcoming concert or festival tour. They are starting to get the publicity. Now they need the TV exposure. A musical guest shot on Saturday Night Live or one of the late night talk shows would be a great start. Miku says this year's theme is turbulence. She considers 2019 as a make or break year. I think what is in balance is does Band-Maid remain a top five Japanese rock band or do they become the biggest hard rock band on the planet. Sacramento loves Band-Maid.
Kanami is a guitarist that can melt your heart with her instrument, but you must to know she is not the only ace in her country. Every day born new stars, like Halca, a girl in the band Asterism (Rising Moon MV), a very savage teen with her guitar, you will not believe until you see it. Or try Mary's Blood - Marionnette, whose guitarist Saki, is also a real top, she can put the strings in flames!... the list on this is endless...

Kanami tono is amazing tono in our language is tune. The riffs in this song is incredible. This song is my favorite really sounds different from the other song.

Ha ha ! They have a (very) few songs that are somewhat mellow, but those songs still have hard rocking parts. The Girls just can't help it, they need to Rock out ! I think it's in their DNA. For me, Band Maid is the best band going.

I'm sad that reaction videos are the only way I get to listen to the live version of this song. It's so beautiful and has such an interesting composition compared to their more rockin' songs.

BTW, If you haven't yet reviewed it, you really need to watch "Play" in the live performance version. Akane, Misa, and Kanami do an instrumental intro that makes it one of the best, most thunderous intros in a live song ever !
On many of Band Maid's live performances, if you filter out everything and concentrate on Misa's bass, she is almost performing solos, in every song :-)
I belive the record label want them to record 4 minute songs. Band-Maid could easily write prog rock songs if they wanted to, 11-15 minutes songs with Kanami running 2 minutes soloes every now and them.
man you have to react to daydreaming, that song its a masterpiece, and also I would recommend anemone (this I have only seen it live at the sepp 2018 but its in acoustic version not the album version) EDIT: also this side of band maid is quite amazing, you can also enjoy bubble (that was made for a drama), and glory (it was selected to be soundtrack for yugi oh) these songs a little less heavy but still incredible
