There is no winner fool. Two equally gifted musicians who can really play their instruments supported by one of the best drummers around and a great singer who pulls it all together.
The perpetual smile on your face while you listen to BAND-MAID says that you get it. Other RU-vid reactors have stated that they can not help but smile and be hyped when listening to BAND-MAID.
The words that SAIKI said in Japanese at the beginning... "Sa, ZEPP no koe wa madamada dekaku naru kana ?" 「さあ、ZEPPの声はまだまだデカくなるかな？」 ( Now, can you give more aggressive cheers to us ? ) "Kakatte kinasai !" 「かかってきなさい！」 ( Just bring it ! )
The call/answer interplay between Kanami and Misa makes this performance my favorite. I get chills every time. I hope they reproduce this at the Dallas show in October, I'll be there. Please play this one!!
I've seen many ppl reacting to band maid, and the result is the same, they all smile, this is what they do with us hahaha... as for the battle, I cant decide who won because I love misa but kanami as won my heart many times right now, so I think the real winners were the people that were enjoying that concert live with their own eyes
Goosebumps... To answer the question: WE win. :) The conversation of the two is among the best in rock music that I heard this millennium. And don't forget Akane's drumming that stretches the tension enormously. And that sound...
This is my favorite song of them, very heavy, dark, edgy, they go almost full metal with that. I like it much before they did this. Misa, a real beauty in black with that dark and deep bass sound, running towards Kanami for accept the duel. And don't forget Akane playing like a taiko battle drummer in the background with a sound that resembles a throbbing heart, and just after the solo, that break that reignites all. Big Bang. Band-Maid knows how to do something already good to make it even better.

Be hard pressed to name anyone anywhere any better. Sacramento loves Band-Maid. Jimmy Page loves them and so do l. Check out their song Order. Amazing band.

Knew you'd like it. You won. Everything they do sounds like it's off a greatest hits album. Suggestion for what to play next: Everything they've ever done. That should pretty much cover it. They have a couple of acoustic things that are nice but not like their usual stuff. They also have one I believe is called Starting Over that I don't like at all but only because it's a musical commercial style I don't much care for. However, those pieces do show the ultimate diversity they have and they play all with equal ability. I have to admit that I like their live stuff better than the musical videos because for me that's always been the true test of a band's abilities. I'm really glad you enjoyed this one. As I said, play everything.
Misa (ミサ）won " Yuragu（揺らぐ）" , Kanami（歌波・カナミ） won " Cross（クロス） " ."Shake that (シェイク ザッツ） " is both win . And always Sai-chan(サイちゃん） and Ah-chan（あ～ちゃん） love. I think Cross is the best of their song and words（song writter was Miku (ミク） . I saw their live 7 times in Tokyo . Especially , 11/1 2019 , 12/1 2019 Tokyo Kiba live was 3 times gooder than 2018 . That live was never seen before !! So so Great , so surprised their razor hard rock sound with backside moniter animation , raysre light like a imaging picture . (Some people was faint and many people was lose consciousness and soaked to the skin (so sweat , so crowed, so hot , so powerful....) .There was Band-Maid`s live magic.
As many have commented not really a battle but friendly banter played out by Kanami and Misa. We all win as such because for me Band Maid are such a change from four or five guys, drugged up on stage, swearing and acting in their own self interest, doing the absolute minimum to be entertaining. Obviously there are exceptions but who would you rather see, some tired Metal band from the eighties or Band Maid?
The girls are in top form with this one but I can't choose between them - I love them both. Another Japanese all girl band you should check out is Mary's Blood. They are excellent live too. Cheers John.

This comparison simply can not be done. They are all great musician in their own field but, they play totally different sections. It's would be like comparing a NFL quarterback to a MBL pitcher. Just sit back crank it up and enjoy the domination.

Really like this band! Also, check out another female rock band called "The Warning." They are three sisters- Dany- lead guitar (19 yrs old), Pau- drums (17 yrs old) and Ale- bass (14 yrs old). They have released two CD's. Do a reaction video to "Dust to Dust" or "21st Century Blood." They also do some cover songs. They do a great cover to Metallica "Rise Atlas." Great video by the way.

Did you catch Saiki saying "die for you, boy" during the chorus? I think you will like their song Freezer very much as well. PS Saiki sings "Don't you tell, don't you tell, don't you tell secrets."
Be careful. The RIAJ (Recording Industry Association Japan), not Band-Maid, is slapping channels with copyright strikes. I don't think this is Band-Maid's management because I think they know that the band would not have nearly as much exposure (especially international exposure) if it weren't for RU-vid and the reactors. The RIAJ has this old mentality which is a nice way of saying they have their heads up their collective asses.
Then get them relocated to America. They need exposure on American TV and a summer festival tour across North America. Instead of being a top five Japanese rock band they should be the biggest hard rock band on the planet.

Wagakki band is another good live band. They always sound better live. Not as many good songs as they tend to recycle the similar or the same verse. Not band-maid.
Be careful now that you are nearing 1000 subscribers and getting monetized. You will appear on the radar of these Japanese entertainment companies and copyright strikes will be coming your way. It's like night following day.
