So I'm new to RC cars and was wondering. Is buying the bandit vxl worth it. I cost another $100 where I am

@@Sol_Creations06 if it were me, I would buy a roller or chassis and build it yourself. At least power system swap.

@@Sol_Creations06 yes. It is fairly easy I have been doing it a long time. I would start with a rustler or bandit it's simple and can get you the speeds you want up to and over 100mph

Anything that's meant to go fast will most likely have a fan, pretty common.

Buy a roller, put a Mamba Monster in it and kiss your sad and normal life goodbye forever.

It is and it isn't. For 100 you get a decent brushless system or you can buy brushed and put the savings towards the system of your choice.

Ben Osborn a stock bandit on 3s will do about 45 but with the 70h gearing it can do 70+!

@@OneTimeIAteABagel I drilled holes in the shock tower, that I cut off. Cut it off first, then I aligned the rods to fit. Adjusted from there

Brandon Botwinick not the same person but I’ve had a castle mamba in mine and my drivetrains been holding up at 100+ mph speeds for about 2 months!

I don't use bandit to go fast. I was seeing how fast the drag setup ran. I use my typhon and talion to do speed things

Vxl in Traxxas language means (brushless edition). Velineon 3500 is the name of the stock brushless motor. Hence this is a bandit vxl. Is the Bandit XL5 motor called the XL5? No. It's called the Titan 12 turn.

@@Sol_Creations06 what the VXL offers over the XL5 are rubber sealed bearings in the hubs, black oxide hex hardware on everything, thicker camber/toe/steering links. Obviously the brushless system. I would recommend going vxl. Great vehicle overall to start

Jeff Bryner I know you don’t like the car but I’m getting one does it need a traxxas lipo or could I just use any lipo ?

@@sassy_gamer7899 its not my choice of cars no. I would get a slash forst then a rustler. The slash u can race if u decide thats something u want to doa nd its like 40 bucks more. They make tones of upgrades for it and the bandit they do not. You can use any lipo u want. I own 2 slashes and a 4x4 rustler for bashes i race team associated so i got an adapter plug that allow me to run my lipo batterys with a deans plug on one end and a traxxas plug on the other side. Look it up before u buy. Gens ace and zeee are great basher bstterys and half the price as traxxas. They are proud and only want u to use there stuff but you do not need too
