Jay B Lead guitar and drums - the Peterson sisters. Bassist Michael Steele was one of the 70s band 'The Runaway's fronted by Joan Jet with guitarist Lita Ford. And of course the tiny sexy real deal voice of Susannah Hoffs. These guys flew in right on the heels of The GoGos coincidence unless you were specifically looking for female artists, like I was and The Bangles eclipsed all.
Debbi P. was the "Ringo" of the Bangles in more than just being the drummer, but in that she made rare appearances as lead singer but those appearances were always anticipated by fans!
My god did i have a crush on Vicki Peterson with her rock n roll blonde hair, cute red gogo dress, fishnets wearing clunky boots. Her energy running around with that guitar always got me.- had a mad crush for her

I saw them at Six Flags over Georgia in.... Don’t recall the exact year, might have been ‘88, or ‘89. A storm was starting to brew, so they cancelled the opening act, no one complained. Great show, they Rocked out just like you see in these live videos, the audience was completely enchanted by these super talented Women! 😁❤️👍

Wow, just wow. I loved the singing by Debi, the stage performance by Michael and Sue, and as always, Vicki's leadership and energy. Wish Michael came alive more on stage like this.
I'm in Liverpool doing nothing right now..we still have unemployment , but now with direct bank transfer now, it's a great city , the people are a one off , creative funny and friendly, this was a great band band and such a beautiful bunch of women with it...
Dear Friends..!! Just listened to a couple of The Bangles' performances, of Going Down To Liverpool... Yeh, I'm still hooked on this Band..!! They've got so much to offer: the way they combine their sweet voices; ..way they combine their instruments; the cheerful air with which they perform... I'm gonna find it difficult to get a flight to the UK again, even to see my relatives, in the Lake District. So mebbe my only chance is gonna be if The Bangles come on tour here, to Spain. I never really gave these guys the credit they deserved. Playing drums while singing can’t be easy. And what a great little song. Never got any air play in my country.

Susanna will always be my favorite but Vicki has got a lot of energy! She looks great too. Like to imagine her bringing that energy to the bed! Really, they all looked great at this concert.

The music industry wanted to treat these gals as a group of Barbie dolls which they certainly are not they're a band,a harmony group for sure and a good one.
Debbie needed more songs as the lead singer but too bad that didn't happen. I must admit though that it is nice to see a nice looking blonde playing drums. Good song
