This is the best so far, I love this conversation. I am currently building finishing an affordable AirBnB units in my home town in Siaya, 4 units simple executive affordable designs. Now, I will use the equity in those units plus the land which is over 3Million in Value, to get a loan then refinance my Nairobi house and another house for an airBnB then use my rent and income from the AirBnB to Service the facilities thus increasing my equity which I can still draw down on. This are some of the simple things we need to teach our kids, concepts about money, savings, investments and building wealth. Now this is holding all the factors constant! Excellent!! Topic Dr.
This is the best content I have seen so far from a Kenyan RU-vidr. Kudos!! I kindly request you to bring on board Mr Pius Muchiri, the managing director of Nabo capital. I also request you to bring on board Mr Joshua Oigara, the CEO Stanbic Bank as well as Dr. George Wachiuri. Thank you Dr. King'ori.
To anybody who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind right now. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. Amen.
Thank you for Hosting Dr. on "Bank Owner on Bad ideas of home ownership". Its worth more than the lectures we have every day. He has actually been on a journey and quite humble as of the many instances he has been called the "Driver" to the level of now crowning the Giant of the roads " Mukurino" which ends up stealing glances here and there. Quite some lessons on consistency and discipline in as much and yeah, we have quite a host on the other side of it: Dr. King'ori who though not speaking on behalf; made it quite, somehow comical but giving it a learning curve over and over. Cheers to a good 1:48 of the minutes for this. It couldhave been longer but I appreciate what was shared.
That's the way to go in America. I was very blessed to buy my house during the 2009 recession, houses were very cheap then as a first time home buyer, the government gave me almost 10K. When I sold it 7 years later, I was able to reinvest that money in real estate. Please, if you can wait, ,never buy a house during a sellers market, wait until prices go down, you'll build equity faster that way.
Well articulated! Thanks to Dr. David and Dr. King'ori for such an insightful session Dr. David has allowed us to tap into his well of wisdom, so grateful and can't wait for the next session on budgeting.
Very high level knowledge!quite eloquent and breaks it down to pieces that we can digest-even if we have to watch for a few times.Keep this kind of people coming and am glad to hear he will grace the show again. This is just what we need in this financial season.
What a guest! I loved Dr. Wachira's insights all through and the personal touch he puts in every tip. Could he discuss on how young people in Kenya could set on a path towards generational wealth within the current geographical and economic setting despite the fact that majority of them only live out of the desire or hope to get comfortable?
I have followed Dr Wachira keenly since the days of AM live when Kobi Kihara , Sheila Mwanyiga, and Debal Inea used to host AM live a very good morning show. From then on, this man has been consistent whenever he is interviewed you can see and tell this man has become better. Dr. Wachira could easily be the next big serial investor in Fin tech . We should see more of Mr Wachira this man can inspire SERIOUSLY
Yo kingori, would appreciate if your team improved on the audio levels. Have to turn up the volume when listening to your show and reduce it drastically when ads pop up. Otherwise thanks for sharing this nuggets of wisdom

Great show Dr King'ori am in Los Angeles. This is a financial game Changer for who is ready to implement what Dr Wachira is literally teaching. Awesome show
This is very informative. You need to sharpen the type of questions you ask so that we as your audience can benefit more from these informative interviews. I love the one with Dama wa Spares too...but felt the questions were limiting us getting important information from your guests
Seriously, the interest rates in Kenya are too high. I remember when I wanted to build my apartments in Kenya, interest rates were 25%, while they were 4% in America. I decided to be patient and just save money and use cash instead. My siblings on the other hand took loans which will take up to 30 years to repay because of those interest rates. Its very unfair for everyone trying to grow wealth, most people just get discouraged and give up.
Loving the conversation and looking for the next installment of this conversation. Papa Dave (Ramsey) would have a fit with the credit card issue. Why build a business totally on credit card debt?
Could you please bring a guest who can explain the Kenyan national debt and why its inevitable for countries to have debt? My family and friends back home are really worried about our debt and I have to remind them that even developed countries have debt. The U.S is 35 trillion dollars in debt and it keeps growing every second
