Banshee Roller Coaster REAL POV Kings Island Ohio 2014 AWESOME!

The ride is so smooth you don't even feel jerky or wind blown until after the ride is over!

When we went to kings island it rained and when it stopped raining like everyone left and it was my family ridding the ride 10 times in a row

This is such an amazing coaster. Without a doubt, the best B&M invert in the world - also probably will be one of the last ones ever made for quite a while as they are becoming obsolete. I love the hangtime they give you in the inversions and spaces them out to produce as much speed as possible. Too many of these coasters are nothing but cramped inversions so that you don’t know where you’re at the entire time or what’s up or down. This is the perfection of the B&M invert. I love how the first hill is insanely steep and how it goes through directly through one of the loops. The color scheme is the best on any coaster ever made in my opinion. And I wish B&M would put these seats and restraints on every one of their coasters still running, no matter how old. If it’s feasibly possible that is. Great coaster!

This was my first big roller coaster, and I only waited 15 minutes yesterday morning to ride it! It was awesome and I can't decide whether this or diamondback is my favorite coaster!

This ride was AMAZING best ride in the park

This was my very first upside down roller coaster and i LOVED it! I was so nervous when i got on and was thinking about not doing it but it was too late! When i rode it hardly no one was in the line so me and my best friend rode it multiple time, best coaster in the park!

For me, this coaster is so smooth. You wont even feel the loops! and your hair stays in one place, this ride is on my bucket list.

Being a former ride worker ( 99-2000) there were advancements in efficiency I noticed that were impressive. The lift was quiet and fast with a chain lift. I know exactly why B&M uses chains no matter...they are more reliable than a cable lift. 2- I was wondering about capacity since this does not have a midway/block brake run. I think that it was an intelligent decision to do this as the ride is better. Also, when I went here in spring, there was a trim brake after the zero G roll I believe. In the fall, it was removed.. 3- The speed that the train travels when it hits the main brake's is fast and the drive wheels sending the train into the station are quick as well. 4- I think the time wasted waiting on a floor to drop ( Montu, Raptor) being eliminated is smart. 5- The trains are comfortable. I fit with a lot of help in the front row but the fat boy seats were ingenious. Everyone in my group was able to ride and the crew was very kind. I like this ride and I like that B&M is still a thriving company. What don't I like? This ride is so damn smooth it's almost entering motion simulator status. I part of me wants a BIT of the jerky/oh shit quality of a traditional coaster. Its marvelous that B&M has managed to make a crazy ass ride like that so smooth but I believe the effect of being on something dangerous is going away. I also don't like that the traditional B&M "roar" is totally missing here. Overall, it's a stupidly amazing ride. Better than Raptor? Not quite ready to let that be said but it's fantastic and incredible.

I love how massive that drop after the zero-g roll is. Great use of terrain!

This roller-coaster is by far the best. In my opinion, it's so much fun can't wait to ride again!

BEST RIDE AT THE PARK HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it so much!!!! Rode in the front seat for the ride and am so glad to have gone today and rode it! Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for some great fun!

Banshee looks amazing, i really wanna ride. I could compare this to Montu, which is like one of my favorite coasters :)

honestly i hated roller coasters i was so scared you wouldn't believe. but i decided i wanted to face my fear and i chose one of the biggest rides at kings island and it was not bad at all. really enjoyed it and i hope more people can get over their fears too!

Can't wait to ride this tomorrow! Everyone stay away so that I don't have to wait so long in line! LOL just kidding!

2:18 This was the first roller coaster I ever rode when I went to Kings Island for my first time I was very nervous. But when it first of that big drop my body was shaking.

I am terrified of roller coasters and heights. But I rode The Banshee three times one year. I saw it and I was bound and determined to enjoy myself. I steeled my nerves and went for it. Most fun I've had in a long time.

I can’t say anything about the line, cause I had the fast pass everytime I went, but I loved the ride and the banshee scream at the top of the hill. The ride isn’t the smoothest but it is amazing. Would recommend.

I really like those new restraints, I hope more rides get them.

My very first experience on an inverted coaster... or any real big coaster was on this ride. I was terrified waiting on that lift to end. I was CRYING 😂 By the end of the ride I was wanting to go again. And again. And again. And so I did. This is the coaster I lost my coaster virginity to. And now I ride them all. 💜 I love this ride.

With how hyped up Son of Beast's replacement is, I expected it to be longer and more exciting. I understand you don't get the full experience watching a POV since you don't experience the G-forces of the ride, but I just expected more from it after watching POVs of Fury 325 and The Beast. I guess I'm going to have to contact one of these parks to see if they would be willing to do something with one of my designs. I've got a crazy design called Quasar that features 11 inversions including a barrel roll interlocked with its main vertical loop, a cobra and several diving loops. It ended up being extremely smooth for something designed in RCT2, and I'm considering remaking it in a proper simulator.

Wow this roller-coaster; just the track layout, immense speed and the restraints look amazing and in good quality, this has to be brand new, but this is probably the best inverted roller-coaster out there.

I actually just got back from media day! The ride is AWESOME! It is a bit rough if you don't sit in the front or second to front, but seriously, it's incredible. All of the crazy, unique elements make for a great, intense ride.

B&M hit a home run with Banshee! So many unique elements that set it apart from their other inverts. Amazing! Also, Kings Island FTW!

Living in Ohio and 30 mins from Kings Island, I've ridden this at least 4 times. It's so fun! Since it's new, it's very smooth and you can't even feel the loops! I didn't scream once! Best ride at Kings Island, 11/10.

it has the same restraints as gatekeeper thats pretty cool im going this summer. i live in new jersey but my parents take me to different amusment parks for my birthday i chose kings island this year. i chose cedar point last year

Sad what happend to Son of Beast. I know it was rough but man there was something special about that ride. I had the privilage to ride it back when it still had the loop and it was AWESOME. R.I.P.

TPR: Are there any inverts with a proper first drop? They all seem to have that played out curved swooping first drop [at least Banshee has a steep curved drop], I've yet to see one with a traditional straight plumet. Is there an actual reason for this?

I'm so excited for kingsisland. Havnt been in 2 years. Heading to college this fall and I'm going with friends next week on a Wednesday when schools start up WITH A FAST LANE PLUS. I'm so excited.

Am I the only one that wasn't really impressed with Banshee? I rode it the first time, got my adrenaline rush, then got bored. Everytime I ride now it feels like a cool down ride. I honestly think Beast is way better. Vortex would be the best if it didn't hurt. I think they should tear it down and rebuild it. It would hurt less and be awesome!

Just rode this baby today. Smooth like butter and aces up all the way. Even Diamondback felt a little rough after this sweet, sweet gem of a coaster.

Waited 15 years for this, finally Kings Island has a full B&M Invert and it looks so awesome man I cant wait to ride XD

I rode this yesterday, it was AMAZING I was in the second row to the front, far left. The workers picked our seats. This ride is my new favorite ride. It's really awesome and smooth.

I was there yesterday for opening day and my first ride on Banshee was the front row. What an amazing ride. Last year, there would've been no way you'd get me on that thing.

I'm sorry, it's awesome but NOTHING will ever beat Millenium Force. They are difference style rides but still, it's the BEST rollercaoster I've ever ridden in my life and I've been on a lot, including this one. I'm just waiting for something to beat it, and still nothing can.

I made an account just to post this comment. I’m 20 and rollercoasters and heights have been my biggest fear since I could remember. (I’m 6’4 too 😂) but I went with 3 friends today to get over my fear. Went on this as soon as we got there. That first drop it took my breathe away and couldn’t scream or anything. But once that hill is over it’s the most freaking fun ride. I rode all the coasters that day. Don’t wanna make this too long to read but if you are scared to get near these things. You can do it. It was the most fun I’ve had in 10+ years. Definitely going again soon. 🤘🏻

Simply an outstanding ride. Road it for the first time last October at Halloween Haunt. We had a few beers first and rode it at night. About 5 or 6 times in a row. Fantastic if you are in the front row of seats.
