Kamal Haasan is like the last person you would want to write off. The man has seen so many ups and downs, it is crazy! While you guys here talking, he is releasing NFTs and metaverse in Cannes. He is truly ahead of his times. We'll probably see no one like him for generations to come

Hope you're watching it at Swagat Shankar Nag. It's one of the best theatres I've been to and yeah it's a single screen theatre. If I'm not wrong it has the world's largest led screen.

Thanks Raunaq, nice recap. So I saw this one video where a person who works with KH says he has so many interesting and crazy ideas (of films) which they had documented over a few weeks so that it can be looked at later

He should make his own perception movies kind of vishwaroopam, dasavataeam, anbe shivam, virumandi and many more, those movies will be received and propogenda will be done he will be celebrated by all, most of all his work and talks makes audience to grow themselves.

Nayagan is the most overrated movie in Kamal haasan's portfolio... Rank top 50 Tamil movies of all time, there will be at least 10 films of Kamal's where he either wrote the screenplay or directed the film... Hey ram, virumandi, mahanadhi are way better movies than nayagan and they are underrated... Baradwaj is a highly biased Mani kanni...

You are right - why people are not speaking about 'Salangai Oli' - one of the finest performance of his career. People never exploited this 'bundle of talent' called kamal hassan.

Definitely there are lot more good movies of him but main thing is Nayagan was very new kind of movie for that era (first of its kind we can say may be) and still its relevant and watchable after so many years. People weren't used to that kind of screenplay or picturization. Kamal in one of his interviews said he had to change the way he used to act, look like etc. He presented subtle (almost kind of natural) acting which was very new for him rather than just changing the appearance or get ups.

@@pogo874u on the contrary, Kamal was heavily criticized for overdoing in certain portions... Not to mention how Roja Bombay all had this over acting issues especially during the flag burning scene and the scene where Aravind Swamy preaches the Muslims in Bombay

@@sureshraghul2715 yes agreed, Kamal atleast (what I personally think) isnt natural actor like Mohanlal etc. He does mostly method acting and emotes more that's why I said 'almost natural'. :) For eg - KH wouldn't be able to pull off what Mohanlal did in Iruvar Or atleast upto that level. Another example is Drishyam climax scene, KH's take of character is very different from how Mohanlal perceived it. Both are different kind of actors.

I am expecting these movies , list will be big Kamal-Karthik Subburaj, Kamal- Vetrimaran, Kamal-Pa Ranjith , Kamal-Thiagarajan Kumararaja, Kamal-Mariselvaraj , Kamal-Mahesh (Viswaroopam editor, Malik Director) ,Kamal-Selavaragavan-Danush, Kamal-VenakatPrabu, Kamal-Raj.B.Shetty (Garuda Gamana…Director) Don’t want Rajamouli, Shankar or KGF Dir Multi starer: Kamal-Vijay (Aboorva sagaothargal 2) , Kamal-Danush-Vadivelu (about musical folk art of south india)

I love the Kamal, Vadivelu Dhanush folk art movie. I'd love a nice comedy filled multistarrer directed by Vamshi Padaipally. He made thozha. Also, a proper H.Vinoth film in the range of Sathuranga vettai. Along with that, Ranjith, Thiagarajan Kumararaja, Anjali Menon and Alphonse Puthren will be great. He should make a thamizh Malayalam movie (both languages are equally featured without dubbing) in a Vineeth Sreenivasan movie with MS Bhaskar and Meera Jasmine too.

I kind of feel most of the above combination is not possible.. KamalHassan is a great actor/director however he is also a very egoistic person.. Somehow i feel that KH will not surrender himself as just an actor to above mentioned directors as he doesnt like to be dominated.. He likes working with Dummy directors like Ramesh Aravind, Chakri Toleti etc, so that he can Ghost direct the movies.. He somehow collaborated with Lokesh, as Lokesh being a FanBoy of Kamal, impressed him with FanBoyism and convinced him with a solid script.. But other directors you have mentioned here may not be Hardore Fans of Kamal and to convince Kamal to surrender to them will be an uphill Task

KAMAL MOVIES ARE BIG PROFITABLE FOR EVERY ONE, WHEREAS RAJINI MOVIES ARE ALLEGEDLY PROFITABLE ONLY FOR RAJINI (LOSS FOR PRODUCER TO ALL OTHER LEVELS).
