I used this tactic with Athletic Bilbao. Currently sitting on the 3rd place of La Liga because this tactic allows you dominate the game. However the tactic seems slowly becoming less effective as the season goes. Keep conceding goals from crossing
would like to see you recreate Leonardo Jardim Monaco Ligue 1 winning tactic with the likes of Mbappe, Bakayoko and Thomas Lemar in the team or Mauricio Pochettino Paris SG and Tottenham Champions League Final Reaching Tactic also Roberto Mancini at Inter Milan Might be a good shout
What would you recommend post patch? I’ve been using a 4231 custom vertical tiki taka and I’m not scoring half as much as I was and been poor clinically. Ps don’t forget Rodgers tactic!
I honestly don’t know myself. I don’t want to criticise the game because I really believe it’s the best game out there but I was in love with the beta patch and then every update after seemed to make the game a little less fun to watch. But have you tried the 4231 with two DMs?
Once Pique makes a comeback along side with Araujo the new 3 at the back should fursure be Araujo-Mingueza-Pique, our best defensive line. 100%. Also De Jong can finally return to his best box to box CM role his best position with the arrival of both Araujo and Pique finally coming back.
@@RDFTactics Pedri would still be in midfield no matter what weather we play 352, 343, 433 De Jong return to the midfield wouldn't change anything for Pedri.
This is similar to my FM20 save with Chelsea: SK(def) BPD(stop) - LIBERO(atk) - BPD(stop) CWB(sup) - CWB(sup) BBM - BBM IW(atk) - IW(atk) F9 BPD - Stay wider; CWB - Mark AM L/R if the opposition has it; IW - Sit narrow, Close down more, cross less often; F9 - Roam from position; Much shorter passing, play out of defense, work ball to the box, Counter-press, Mark Tight, Much higher line of engagement, Very Narrow defense width; - Good wingbacks are key to system as they provide the attacking width and are the main attack outlet; - Having at least one of the BBM with a "Come deeper to get the ball" is very important. Change someone to Deep Lying Playmaker otherwise; - The IW are the main goal scorers; - Surprisingly the Libero has the highest avrg rating of my team although he doesn't appear that much in the highlights. He usually move up the field and help recycle the possession and often find forward long passes to the CWB in very threatening positions; - you can change the CWBs to attack if facing weaker sides for a barrage of goals; Having fun with it so far!
Yet another great vid RDF. I was hoping this would show the 3-5-2 so I could then compare that with Conte's. But, it's still very good food for thought.
this is really nice man good job! Could you have a look at Ten hag's Ajax? I love the Total footbal philosophy - I successfully recreated it his 4-2-3-1 system back in fm19 but haven't been enable to do so to the same degree in fm21 I utilised a halfback and a regista partnership back then and it worked wonders
Thanks a lot! Ten Hag defo coming soon for sure! Just trying to work some things out with the players position on FM lol, never completely happy with my attempts so far
@@RDFTactics yeah neither have I really, I made it work, as I said, in fm19 where I got bologna a 2nd place finish first season behind juve but I can't make it work same way in fm21 needs more testing but HB and regista is a fun combo
Correct. It was explained why no Libero or cover defender was used. When using cover CB, that encourages the AI to leave a striker right on the last man. So he wasn’t actually covering or sweeping and it caused many errors.
But where would you play De Jong? He is a central player and essential for the tactic, but he is not a ball paying defender with a marking instruction.
@@johanneshofer7868 he's posted on a comment reply in a different video that's he's working on the tuchel tactic again as his current one is only a reflection of the Chelsea Vs Wolves game
Just had a thought, could you do a Graham Potter tactic video? Would keep up with your current trend of 3 at the back tactics and his side play really good football
hey RDF, I have a random challenge for you.. Can you please create a tactic and formation that has all the underused roles and try and make it work. So the tactic has to have a Libero, a segundo volante, a trequeitista but as a striker, a ramdauter, a half back or Anchor man to sit next to the segundo volante and for extra difficulty try and squeeze in either a roaming playmaker or an engache. Just intrigued to see if its possible to make all these niche roles mesh well in a tactic that actually works. Please try and pull this off :)
Think my subs on YT would hate if I did Arteta right now 😆 but I’m thinking of doing a bundle of Pep tactics. I already have a video but only for this year, I want to also do his Barcelona and Bayern tactics
De Jong is clearly a libero since he played defender with all the injuries and he did great, his capacity to progress with the ball and break the pressure was really useful Also I don’t think a Box to Box fit at 100% for Pedri, I agree that he have a good activity and come back often but he is truly gifted technically and almost never shoot which is the opposite of a B2B in my opinion but it’s true that it’s hard to find a balance If De Jong go back to the midfield I would put Pedri higher next to Messi and De Jong next to Busquets
The explanations to why I chose certain roles are all in the video. Beginning to think people only look and not really listen out 😂 De Jong is clearly a Libero, I did say this. However, in FM, does not mean FMs version of a Libero is best fit. They are only names of roles, but more attention should be payed on how it’s used in the tactic. Using a Libero in FM encourages AI striker to stay with him. He has lots of space to them exploit as its 1v1. There’s so much more than to a B2B and no reason a technical player can’t play that role, it doesn’t take away from his technical ability. Also because of the team instructions, the B2B hardly shoots anyway but a B2B is a great link between midfield and defence.
And I get it now for the Libero explanation but I would still stay with that personally because even IRL Barcelona take risks for example when De Jong get further but in the other hands press better since they changed some things
Unbelievably good video. Please use some logo packs and face packs though, this game looks very weird without it lol but I was looking for this kind of format and I'm happy RU-vid finally suggested such video!
