I have a 99 Tacoma pre-runner 2.7 L single with a 2.5 inch leveling kit and 33 inch falcon wild peak’s ATW3’s . When I got the truck, it had a low 200 and something thousand but not right at the 200,000 Mark on it and now it only has almost 277,000 miles. When I first got it, the owner told my mother who went and picked it up for me. All it needs is alignment wrong and needed ball joints bad. I also just went ahead and started upgrading the expansion parts with all new struts in the front and shocks in the rear and replacing almost everything to make this a nice roadworthy daily driver . I also ripped the plastic bedliner out and did a spray on bedliner and a front brush guard that has a 8 inch light bar on it with rock lights in the fender wells. It’s a nice little daily driver I like it and it does get used for dragging a drag through the field because I do own farm animals that I have to drag the field every so often. The little thing is a beast and I love it. About to also put bigger mirrors on it because the pre-runner mirrors in my opinion are tiny so I’m going with the SR5 four-door style, mirrors, and glass black but I have to get one painted because they sent me two mixed matched mirrors but the company was great and refunded all my money and told me to keep the mirrors.
I had a dark green first gen Taco, it was such a nice truck to drive. I had it for 8 months and it broke every month that I owned it.. The trucks were so new they didn't have much in spare parts for warranty work so I ended up selling it.
I remember seeing this truck on Craigslist a while ago. Looks way better with the methods on it than the stock wheels it had a the time. I should have bought it back when I had the chance.
That's is actually the second version Tacoma made from 2002 on the earlier Tacoma had different front clip bed doors interior and engine. On the 4 cylinder.
I like how this guy doesn’t know anything about his truck he didn’t build it and the only thing he’s worried about is the paint this dude is not a true Toyota guy. Mall crawler... not the truck, the guy that owns it.
Anyone know social media accounts that sell off road parts or truck parts in general in the socal area other than race dezert (Facebook groups, Instagram accounts, websites etc)
We will never have to swap to electric. It can't be supported by our coal plants. There hasn't been advancement compared to nuclear. I have friends in Edison who say the grid won't support it, coal grids. Electric vehicles are limited as to how much they can charge depending on the time of day they are charging at, limited power available on the grid and that's as we step into this stupid idea. We have frequent blackouts across our grids due to air conditioning power demand and that's 84% of the population. Imagine relying on coal burning power plants that are already insufficient for comforts and necessities like air conditioning / heating... Now, stupid ass electric cars?... Cold winters, hot summers, and shortage of money for everyone!!!!*! But you can turn in your vouchers for bread at the Health Department.
