This run was very clean. Some bad RNG here and some slow decision making in a few spots, the route isn't exactly optimized I just randomly decided to give it a try and see how things went.
Previously I hated running wanderer. It felt weak and finicky even though I knew it had potential. But after practicing with ninja, learning to run and skip things. Getting a feel for what was important in the runs has lead me to find success with this class.
Its a good run. Fastest on the leaderboard (not including Ivyory's 19:33 that hasn't been submitted) So I'm not sure if I should submit it or not.
I've watched it a few times now and I genuinely think I can lower the time down to 19:XX in fact I'm pretty sure with some good RNG on the maps and skipping some stuff it can go as low as 18:XX maybe even 17:XX. Floor 1 was slow I think I should skip mine town or at least try be faster, floor 4 was slow ish. floor 5 was a little scary and lost me about 15 seconds. I should probably just use mapping immediately in the desert on floors 12 and 14
I can be slightly faster in hamlet about 20 seconds and then if I had 8 mapping or at least a fast exit for the one or two floors I didn't have mapping for. Closer exits. Using a strength potion on the cleric and maybe the barb. Picking up their armor and equipping it during the fight.
There is a lot that can be improved to bring the time down.
But I'm very happy with this run. Thought I'd at least share it with all you amazing peeps supporting me and the channel. THANK YOU. THANK YOU so much. I appreciate all of you!
The next vid that comes out will be a race guide. Once we've done all 9 I will focus on class guides and then combat guides! I might do a speedrun here or there and try break my time even more. But I really want to get back to the root of the channel and that was always to create guides, tips and tricks, strategies and things to help people seeking a edge in the game.
